Great food, great service. Beware though, lol, I love guacamole, so I ordered it, only to find out it came with everything else we ordered too. Huge margaritas, great prices too. Find it, you will be glad you did.

Excellent food and phenomenal service. Had the best margarita all week at La Choza. The al diablo shrimp was perfectly cooked, not spicy at all. The chicken quesadillas were great. The atmosphere was very relaxed - lots of locals. Restrooms were very clean. Bar was good. Bilingual staff really made you feel at home. Reasonable prices, too.

The service was terrible (they kept forgetting items we ordered several times) the food was dreadful and expensive, they allowed smoking indoors, and the music was blaring.

Two of us ate at La Choza last night. It was recommended to us by a few folks on the island so we gave it a try. It reminded me of a Chile's in the U.S., high volume production cooking, with very little character. The decor is nice, the location is easy to get to, and the people are friendly;... More

Great Mexican restaurant, good service, great food and reasonable prices. The restaurant is typical Mexican and we also had live music of "mariachi". Try it Alan

I have been eating at La Choza for many years and was sad to hear that their original location burned down. Was very happy to find their new location just around the corner, had lunch there a couple of times after great diving and found that they continue to cook very good authentic Mexican food, nothing fancy but very generous... I read the reviews, and know they have a full menu, but we find ourselves here each trip at breakfast time. And the breakfast dishes are great. MIgas for me, Mayan eggs with choya for the wing girl. Choya? Think a more herbal version of spinach. And coffee infused with a hint of cinnamon. A perfect way to start another... More

The best tortilla soup you will have in your life! Nice, clean, good service. Great food and drinks. If your kids are picky it will be hard to please them. But the fideo soup would do the trick. My son really liked it. It is just Mexican noodle soup.

The food was good but it was not real Mexican food. We had 2 beers and 2 fajitas for $50.00. It's expensive

Thank you Christian and Family. Hands down the best dinner we had all week in Mexico. The vibe in the restaurant was alive and friendly, the food was authentic and the old family recipes are alive and well. To anyone who is going to Cozumel, don't miss this place.
