Very good food and service

We were recommended this restaurant by someone from our resort, and he was spot on. The service was quick and attentive. The mole (with white meat chicken) was delicious. I REALLY wish I had that recipe. I would make it often. The only thing that made this review a 4 instead of a 5 is that they... read more

While out on a walk during our Carnival cruise stop in Cozumel, we stumbled upon La Choza. Looked nice and clean so we went in. I ordered the Beef kabobs and 2 Sol beers, The wife ordered the Chicken Fajita and a bottled water. Lunch came with a chicken noodle soup. All the food was absolutely delicious but came to... More

A member of our tour operator had recommended this place and I am very glad we tried it! We were greeted by a very friendly staff, and they suggested their specialty drink, the orange juice margarita, which was divine... Especially with their homemade nachos and dipping sauces. We ordered the quesadilla to begin, and had the fajitas for dinner. The... More

the food is just a vague imitation of the real mexican food and only tourist friendly -if you're a mexican, it takes ages until you get served (waited for 30min and then 20 to get the check). plus, the personnel is also homophobic and discriminating.

This place was busy. Had a buzzing atmosphere with staff running around at a frantic pace. Food was OK without being anything special. If you are thinking of having Fajitas don't bother really basic and nothing to write home about. This seemed to be more of a tourist place than locals eating out. There are better options in cozumel

100% authentic and delicious. Priced perfectly and the ambience is perfect for a casual family meal. The seafood soup is over the top delicious and if you like garlic, the fish is unbelievable

Huge margaritas and fabulous food. This is a popular place for locals to eat. Mariachi band. Very Mexicano décor. Off the beaten path.

well I finally made it over to La Choza - a little bit more of a walk from my last years experiences. And I was not dissappointed. the soup was a little better this year, the chicken - much the same , and the terriffic sauce was as good as I remembered - even the two helpings of it that... More

We were on a cruise and visited this restaurant on the advice of our Instructor who was with us on our day trip to the Island. The place was busy, the service started off ok, orders taken quickly enough considering the amount of people present. The food arrived which was average at best. When the bill arrived it was way... Nice place to get a sturdy lunch after a morning in the water. We got fajitas and their HUGE margaritas. Friendly service and delicious food. Highly recommended.
