Once a major Mayan center, the name "Cozumel" derives from the Mayan word "Ah-Cuzamil-Peten," meaning simply, "land of the swallows." So once you get some of our fine food and drinks in your gullet, you'll be in excellent keeping with ancient Mayan tradition! Located just off the Yucatan coast on Mexico's largest island, Cozumel offers Mexico's best diving, beautiful coral gardens, and some remote reefs where you can spot dolphins hard at play. The island is also good for bird watching (just don't look up!), but we recommend you check out the wildlife inside Hard Rock instead, where for years we've been cataloging and preserving rare rock 'n' roll artifacts, keeping them as primed as possible in their natural state. The unique Mayan architectural style makes this one of the most beautiful Hard Rock Cafes in the world, and complementing our numerous rock objects is a superb ceiling mural depicting a vast underwater setting. In fact, this mural is so realistic you may never need the actual beach, but we understand if you do venture out, just so you can say you did. All beachin' aside though, the choice for Mayan culture in the new millennium is the Hard Rock Cafe Cozumel!

Double check on "Medium "

This week after 2 night dives we were starving and we found this place open at 10 pm. Super lucky ESP if you want draft beer to go with your burger. However my medium burger was very very rare. I ate half - one burger could feed two calorie counting adults ( beer doesn't count on vacation). They... read more

There weren't any vegetarian options on the menu, the staff weren't helpful and the food that came to the table wasn't good. Don't go just doesn't worth your money

I have been to a lot of Hard Rock bars and hotels around the world and this one has to rate as the least favorite, there was no atmosphere and my cocktail was like water with a bit of juice added. I decided not to eat as the drinks took too long to arrive, my guess is that this has... More

Love the atmosphere. The wait staff were very happy and helpful. Live music and good food. My husband had a burger and I had the grilled chicken sandwich. Both were large, hot and good. We enjoyed our view out the large glass walls. Interesting building. Modern new area just down from the ships dock. Lots of shopping in the adjacent... More

We've eaten at HRC properties all over the world. This visit was a disappointment. The restaurant is very small and doesn't have the usual amount of memorabilia you typically see. The cheapest T-shirt was $33. The food was overly-expensive and not overly tasty. A basic hamburger was $30+. Our server was "OK" but not friendly or particularly enthusiastic. We paid... More

A/C was working hard, but it stayed hot upstairs. Two doors were open, guaranteeing it didn't get comfortable inside. Live music upstairs was far too loud. Volume downstairs was okay. Beer was cold, but only ~1/4 of advertised offerings were available. Staff worked like crazy, but couldn't do a good job serving the moderate crowd. Staff said this location had... More

The best part of Hard Rock Café in Cozumel was the little store down in the front of the Café. The young lady working there was very friendly, Nice, Helpful. She was just full of energy. This Young lady should get a raise just for great customer service.

During our trip to Cozumel we decided we were going to go to the Hard Rock Cafe, Google maps showed it as being right opposite the ferry port we came in on. There was once a cafe there but it is now located about 3 miles away from the original site. That aside the food was great and the staff... More
