Description: Once a major Mayan center, the name "Cozumel" derives from the Mayan word "Ah-Cuzamil-Peten," meaning simply, "land of the swallows." So once you get some of our fine food and drinks in your gullet, you'll be in excellent keeping with ancient Mayan tradition! Located just off the Yucatan coast on Mexico's largest island, Cozumel offers Mexico's best diving, beautiful coral gardens, and some remote reefs where you can spot dolphins hard at play. The island is also good for bird watching (just don't look up!), but we recommend you check out the wildlife inside Hard Rock instead, where for years we've been cataloging and preserving rare rock 'n' roll artifacts, keeping them as primed as possible in their natural state. The unique Mayan architectural style makes this one of the most beautiful Hard Rock Cafes in the world, and complementing our numerous rock objects is a superb ceiling mural depicting a vast underwater setting. In fact, this mural is so realistic you may never need the actual beach, but we understand if you do venture out, just so you can say you did. All beachin' aside though, the choice for Mayan culture in the new millennium is the Hard Rock Cafe Cozumel!

Took a not so cheap taxi down to HRC to pick up some pins that I have been collecting for a very long time. The cafe was open but just opened. Went into the gift shop to get my pins and they did not have any. the girl said it was a "soft opening and we have no pins"? Not... More

Restaurant closed around 3 months ago, however the shop by the cruise terminal is very much alive and kicking. The staff are quite blatant about selling products with their "doctored" labels and the noticeably inferior quality t shirts. Roughly they are asking around £18-20 for a t shirt, they are selling the ones with traditional logos and some homemade hybrid... More

When you feeling like it time for some old fashion cuisine...come to the Hard Rock. Burgar and fries were awesome and a nice change of pace from Mexican Food. I had to split this order with my husband since I feel that their portions are fairly generous.

This is how they advertize this Hard Rock, and they are indeed correct. Located conveniently at the end of the pier where cruise ships land, you will miss it if you blink twice (no kidding) Small gift shop - but selling the traditional black HRC shirts and shot glasses. Not much variety Average rest room Small restaurant and tables, set closely... We wanted a place we were familiar with in Cozumel so we went to Hard Rock. The food and service was outstanding with a great view from the second story restaurant of the port. A lot of rock 'n roll memorabilia. Close to shopping (negotiation, haggling) and within walking distance of access to taxi's also.

**I was here 9/25/11** You can get to this HR by taxi. It's too far to walk unless you know your way. It is the smallest HR in the world but it's super nice inside (as most are) and the service was great. Our Hurricanes were great and so was the food. I usually try to eat local food when... More

Stopped in here for lunch while on vacation. The place was very cozy and a sign toted it as the smallest Hard Rock Cafe. The food was good and the service friendly. We had a window seat that allowed us to view out over the water. A nice place to have lunch.

Perfect place to go when you've been in Cozumel awhile and just want "American" food. It's pricey, but satisfies that need.
