It's good for breakfast

It's an OK restaurant. I ate the fish of the day, it was grilled and salty. My boyfriend had chorizo pasta, it was ok. The seafood ceviche was the same as everywhere else. All restaurants have the same receipt for ceviche there..we've tried it in couple of places and it looks exactly the same from... read more

We visited there a year ago (December 2013) and found the food and service to be fabulous. Our return trip there this year was vastly different. The portions are meagre (about half the size) although the bill is larger. The ambiance poor. Service staff was eager, since we were the only people there except for two other patrons who left... A must stop for breakfast. Shaded in the morning overlooking the promenade and harbour. Great Rancheros Eggs and Spanish Torta. Fresh juices and bottomless coffee. Friendly service. Probably awesome for sunset too.

Found the restaurant by accident last year while visiting the museum. Returned last week and it was still great. Interesting that while it is in the middle of all the tourist shops and such it does not seem to attract a lot of tourists. I think you have to know it is there as it is not very visible from... My first visit and review was in Feb 2014. At that time I gave it a 4* rating as we had a very good dinner experience. Unfortunately, I have been there two more times since February and my experiences were very so-so, 2 or 3* at best. I understand it is under new management and more importantly, has a new... More

Came here after doing the turtle liberation. The service was great. We got this platter of food big enough for four. It had a variety of meats, quesadilla, and tacos with gaucamole and refried beans. I was incredible. They had happy hour too! So if you pass the yellow museum go upstairs for a great view and great food.

The place is a balcony in the museo building, shaded, fresh and with a great view for the caribbean sea, it´s not pricey and the food though it´s not fantastic does´t disappoint. The service does´t take long. Very relaxing atmosphere to start your day.

Really had a pretty bad experience at this place. First, the pros. Excellent view and friendly staff (though, I'll get to that in a second). Also, one of the meals was very good and the drink prices were fair. Unfortunately, the few cons absolutely ruined what could be a nice place. While the drinks were priced fine, the food we... More

I'm one of those who still reads the Frommers Guides before visiting another country, and this was highly recommended in the Mexico guide as an authentic Mexican restaurant frequented by locals. It was true. Like all other businesses on this coastal avenue, staff is on the sidewalk, aggressively seeking tourists' attention--don't let that deter you as it almost did us.... More
