best margarita

We stopped at this little restaurant, and it was so cute and family owned. Prices were fantastic, service was great. Ask for a margarita and it was huge and amazing and loaded with tequila. I was not sure if i could walk back to the ship. But we made it back and had a super great time. Food was... read more

Casa Denis is a must when we visit Cozumel. We love the food, the waiters, and the Mojitos!!! There is always something going on, we've seen fire dancers, mariachi band, even fellow patrons singing along with one man band. It's a great little place to eat and enjoy friends/family. It's set conveniently near the square with eating outside for a... More

When I lived in Cozumel, Casa Denis was by reservation for groups only. I enjoyed going alone and watching people from my table in front. I especially liked the cochinita pibil which is pork from a pig wrapped in banana leaves and baked in a pit. So tender. They also have poc chuc. The crown of the meal was home... More

This place was listed in our VRBO condo as a great local spot for breakfast. Completely WRONG! Ordered huevos rancheros over easy for me, and biscuits end eggs w/bacon for my wife. Two burned up eggs on dry corn tortillas with refried beans on the side showed up for me and burned up eggs and ham on dry hamburger buns... More

We loved everything about the food and the service. But when we asked for air conditioning they put us next to the door of the adjoining business that did have it so that the fans blew on us haha. That was such a good laugh that we quit worrying about not having it.

We stopped at Casa Denis for lunch one of the days on our trip after reading about it and seeing an ad for the restaurant. Bart was our sever and he was fantastic and really funny! My wife and I shared meals, she had a Torta and I had the Cochinita Pibil (Spicy Pork), both were very tasty, definitely get... More

Love this place in many respects. The waiters are great, the location is fun, particularly on Sunday evenings, and the food is always authentic. It's not the best meal in cozumel, but it's a tradition and is usually lively.

Go see Martine and he will make you full and perhaps intoxicated. A new item on the menu is called Sexy Shrimp. They were indeed sexy looking and tasting. One of my favorites.

We stayed on the island for ten nights... And ate in quite a few places around town. Casa Denis was ok. The food was alright, but not the best we had. The empanadas were incredible, so if you're looking for those, this is the place to go. The margaritas were great and the service was friendly and attentive. The thing... More

The oldest restaurant in San Miguel town! a tiny house family owned restaurant serving specialities from Yucatan region at the heart of Cozumel. The service is friendly, the food tastes good
