Perfect until the end

We were staying at the Ramada hotel 2 mins away and wanted somewhere to eat which wasn't a complete tourist trap with a dodgy Mariachi band...La Habichuela was the most beautiful restaurant and an absolute gem tucked away behind the main road. We had 3 courses plus two margaritas and beers and it's came to £40, including a palette cleanser... More

On our final night in Cancun before joining up with our tour group we were looking for somewhere nice for dinner. We thought about heading into the Hotel Zone, but thought it could cost too much so we found this little gem on TA just round the corner from our hotel. We were greeted by friendly staffed given a little... More

Decided to move away from quick eats and street food for our final night in Mexico and so glad we decided to try La Habichuela! The service was above expectation and food to match. Get the chocolate mousse for dessert!

We had lunch at La Habichuela near the registro civil in downtown cancun. Excellent service and equally nice food we had the shrimp and veal shank. We mever ate ate the one in zona hotelera but if you are downtown and want a nice restaurant this place is casual with a fine dining quality we would recommend it.

By far the best food AND service we experienced in two weeks in the Mayan Riviera area. Special thanks to our host/headwaiter Alfredo Morales!

This restaurant has a very trendy look both from the interior and the exterior! Meal was very delicious! Superb steaks served the Yucutan way! Located close to downtown Cancun. Good selection of alcoholic beverages as well. The atmosphere is quite cozy and romantic, though we were a large group and were unable to appreciate this.

Super Yummy! Lobster was excellent. A little scary getting there as it is downtown and a ways away from the resorts, but good experience, reasonable prices and yummy food.

My friends and I (six people total) made reservations at this restaurant while vacationing in Cancun. The reviews made La Habichuela sound like a can't miss...and they were right! When we arrived for dinner (a few minutes late), we were greeted by several employees and walked to our beautiful table in the back courtyard. The ambiance of this outdoor space... More
