Good food and good location

This was recommended to us by a local. It turned out to be a big hit in our family. The location was great looking over the water. I thought the prices were comparable to the USA. We got drinks, an appetizer, and entrees all for a reasonable amount. Service was good and the food and drinks... read more

This was our 2nd visit to Mocambo in Cancun. Our first experience last year was enjoyable so we decided to return this year. We were underwhelmed this time around. The server was not at all friendly and he seemed to be upset that he had to deal with us. Unlike other tables which were shown platters of the fresh fish... More

we were a bit nervous as we'd read mixed reviews. Food was excellent and there was loads of it. Hubby had a marinated tuna starter and it was huge and delicious. Price was on a par with UK prices. I'd recommend a visit

This is a great little jewel off the main road. Hidden between Riu and Fiesta Americana Gran Coral. Food was fabulous. Go early evening and request a table over looking the water.

Any restaurant located on the water should have a great view. This was nice. When you go to a seafood restaurant and the selection is limited, the food is ordinary at best, the drinks expensive, and the bill even more so....you better select a better place to eat. The restaurant needs to step-up its game and prepare better, more authentic... More

We were recommended to go to this restaurant and this was our second visit. (I guess they did something right in the first time!!) We arrived in Cancun at night and headed right to the restaurant after dropping off our luggage. The restaurant is right on the water and has great views! The location is right in the heart of... We took the kids here for a nice dinner- the service was excellent. We had a lovely table. We were shown the fresh fish and were pretty excited about trying their fish dinners for two. Very underwhelmed. The fish(mahi, salmon , tuna ) was overcooked and under seasoned. Paid a lot to not eat much. But maybe we were expecting... More

Great location by the water and the building is interesting. That said, the food and service were simply average. Our meal was okay, but nothing to write home about.

Normal Quality food. The slowest service ever. Expensive, The tips are suggested in the check, I think this is rude. Great sea view.

We came to Mocambo via a catamarin trip through cancun sailing. My husband was sick from the ride so we just sat there waiting for our ship to sail so to speak. My friend had a pina colada which was the most AMAZING pina colada ever! they had the nachos, the nachos were far from delicious. just chips, maybe a... More
