The food was horrible. The house margaritas were watery and tasteless. The staff was not very friendly.

Eventually I asked the Manager who was manning the Front Desk, who came and took the order himself as he couldn't find our waiter. Starters arrived 20 mins... More

El Mortero was the perfect restaurant to kick off our Mexican getaway and set the tone for our vacation. It is a little pricey but worth every penny as the service was Superb from beginning to end. In pictures, I found the decor to be a tad "tacky" because of all the colors but I was wrong. The décor is... More

Regular food and very bad service, no manners and the waiter was coughing several times over my wife and then over my shoulder, and at no time was pushed aside and not uses his arm to cough. El Mariachi moderately... More

We had visited el Mortero many times over the years. After this visit, we will not be back. The food was average, a little pricey and the service was terrible. We were put into a back corner table, had to wait for the server to take our order, he left in the middle to go do something else and had... More
