The staff was attentive, the decor was improved over the previous location, the room was quiet with Jorge Duran on the guitar playing softly. The food was well prepared and delicious. We dined with friends from Hawaii who also enjoyed this experience. We love this restaurant and now even more.

We only got to visit this restaurant once and will definitely be going back. An amazing experience. We ordered the bananas Foster and the waiter did the entire show of flambaying the nannas table side. We ordered a wine, excellent and smooth, we all had additional drinks, martinis, champagne, mojitos and tequila. Three of our group ordered the lamb chops.... More

This place is worth a visit but make reservations and prepare to be wowed! The Steak Diane, Coffee coated Red Snapper and Sexy Coffee are highly recommended. It is worth dressing up for and please respect the new dress code of only appropriate shorts and tops...no swim shorts!

We have been visiting this restaurant for the 18 years that we have vacationed in Cancun. This was our first visit after the restaurant was moved to the Royal Islander. We went three different times and each time was exceptional. The staff is highly professional and knowledgeable. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. Our favorites were the coffee coated... More

We were staying at the Royal Sands, took the shuttle to El Conquistador. WOW! Amazing service, the waiters are incredibly attentive, the food is so well presented and delicious of course. If the ambiance wasn't already perfect, there is a gentleman playing the Spanish guitar and it is truly amazing. We had a lovely dinner with friends, perfect evening and... More

This restaurant is now located in the Royal Islander and is now open to the public as well as owners at the Royal Resorts. The food is excellent, including the bacon wrapped shrimp and the Chateaubriand. Reservations strongly suggested.

From the time we were greeted at the door it was a fabulous experience. Julio our waiter suggested the coffee crusted red snapper which was one of the best things I've ever eaten. Ambiance with live guitar, a visit from the chef, and table side bananas foster preparation all made dining experience special! Overall a must while staying at royal islander.
