What a nice treat near downtown cancun. I see my wifr=e already wrote a review (shortie43) and I agree completely. "The owners were very friendly, the food was fabulous, and the ambiance was perfect, very non-pretentious and cozy. To top it off we were treated to some great music and singing by two different, very talented gentlemen. After dinner the... More

I have chosen this hotel for its reputation however my overall experience was not good. There were only 3 tables occupied, we ordered "empanadas", it took almost 30 minutes to get served and the size of this meal was absolutely ridiculous and expensive. It is not my favorite place and do not think I will go back

Last night my daughter Marisa treated me, my husband, and our friend Lauren to an excellent birthday dinner. We were all delighted with Rincon del Vino. The owners were very friendly, the food was fabulous, and the ambiance was perfect, very non-pretentious and cozy. To top it off we were treated to some great music and singing by two different,... We have been to this restaurant, my wife and I with friends, twice this year and both times we had delicious pizza and a few glasses of their good wines all at a reasonable price. The owners are very friendly and make you feel at home. By the way they speek English very well.

Cancun is awash in mediocre American chain restaurants, from Johnny Rockets to Ruth´s Chris and Chilis. Just slightly off the beaten path is a real gem of a local restaurant we can´t recommend more highly. El Rincon del Vino is a couple of blocks and a world away from pizza mecca Rolandis (not a US chain but not exactly authentic... More

Away from the tourist masses on the beach, el Rincon del Vino offers a great atmosphere and a pleace where you can taste good wine and excellent tapas at an affordable price. Whether it is by listening to live music or el Rincon's ipod collection, it is always possible to have a conversation, relax and enjoy a fun night out.... More

We always liked going to the "wine bar" and Lydia, the owner, was always friendly as was the staff. The Tapas were always good. Unfortunately, it is now closed as is her other restaurant in the hotel zone.
