Would highly recommend anyone visiting Cancun to go to Savios Bistro- La Dolce Vita. They are conveniently located in the middle of Hotel Zone across from the Paradissus Resort. If you want truly authentic Italian food, go here. They all kinds of delicious pastas, fishes and other tasty dining options. The service was outstanding and the prices were reasonable. Make... More
We went to Savio's twice during our last trip to cancun. The first night, we had a great experience. We sat by the water and the food was delicious and the service was impeccable. I had the spinach ravioli (delicious!) and my husband had the veal parm. The second time, we expected the same experience, but we were very disappointed.... More
Every year I celebrate my birthday at Savio's La Dolce Vita (and bring 15 of my closest friends) and every year it is a wonderful experience. The ambiance, the service and of course the food is always an experience to remember. The deck looking out over the lagoon is a romantic and lovely place to enjoy a wonderful meal.
We almost walked out of this restaurant because all the tables inside were empty. The outside seating was really nice. We were seated on the dock-we could have put our feet in the water! The atmosphere outside was really interesting with people seated on all different levels. I loved the outside decor. We went in late and just wanted pizza.... More

Walked into Savio's for dinner and wondered if they were open - nobody sitting in the restaurant. We were ushered by the owner to the terrace where a couple dozen tables were filled with other diners. The Waterfront side of the restaurant is beautiful. We had a couple waiters helping us - I think they were a bit disorganized, but... More
We went to Savios after trying 3-4 other Italian restaurants with no luck. The location and the decor were great, really made you feel like you were in Cancun, unlike some other restaurants where you are just inside a hotel. The food was better than the other options in the area, but still not great for the amount of money... More
We went to this restaurant the first time because of the location. We had passed it a number of times on the way to aqua world and the first evening was fantastic. The greeter brought us to our table - every table has an awesome view. I ordered the tuna as an appetizer as well as the salad which was... More
The items on the menu had Italian names, but tasted more like Mexican food. The food was not the best either. My Pork Osso Buco was tasty, but had more Mexican flavors than Italian. On the other hand my wife's chicken cutlet was like a piece of rubber. Service was a bit helter skelter. I would not go back and... More
