We got lucky, we phoned from a taxi on our way to Peter's, and there was a table available. This place is as much a "must" as is putting your feet in the sand when visiting Cancun. I'm still blown away at the quality of all of our party's meals (4). I had the smoked salmon. I was literally blown... More

I'm so glad we stumbled upon Peter's! The interior is a quaint, intimate setting with amazing service the second you sit down. The food was excellent and I love how Peter comes to talk to each table individually while dining. Easily one of my favorite meals on the entire trip - would definitely come back!! PS. save room for dessert!

I had to discover why this restaurant is rated Number 1 in Cancun and it delivered in aces. The food was excellent, service very attentive, the prices are quite reasonable and the chef's visit to each table is a very nice touch that helps explain the reason this little restaurant is so successful. The customer really is king here! My... More

My husband and I decided not to do the all inclusive and opted to stay in the Westin Lagunamar. I did some research on local restaurants and picked and reserved Peters before we arrived. I am so happy that we did as it is hard to get a reservation. I mentioned our choice to the hotel Concierge and he also... More

Wonderful food at reasonable prices in Cancun proper...not too far outside of the Hotelera. There were three of us who ate at this restaurant and the main dishes were excellent (steak, hog fish, and pasta). The salad and the appetizer was awesome, as well. The only thing that didn't impress me was the Key Lime pie...it wasn't tart at all... More

We followed the usually reliable TP reviews and we're not disappointed. We ordered ribs, smoked salmon, hogfish and veal, all were terrific. Mushroom ravioli were terrific starters. Decent wine list, prices were good. Chef Peter was very.friendly And spoke to each table. His wife , hostess, was very charming as well.

Leave the hotels and come here. You will have amazing food - that's a given. What you will also get is an amazing family experience. A chef owner that visits the tables with his wife and son working the front of house to make it so charming and welcoming is a winning combo. Do not miss this eating here! The... More

We ate here the other night and can only say this rates right up there with the best of the places we have eaten around the world. Peter does incredible things with the local flavors and food on offer. We had fish for each of our courses because I did not turn the page where the meats were. It only... More
