Despite the ants I found in table when sitting down food is good as usual at reasonable prices, in particular if you grab a breakfast combo. Love the café de olla.
After reading reviews and having bad food experiences, I was very looking forward to getting some decent food and was very happy to have gone and we will return. Some of the best food I've had in 3 weeks of Mexico. I had fajitas with mixed meats, beef, chorizo, bacon, chicken and pork...I think. Was yummy. And for only $75... More

If you want a bit of a true Mexican flavor for not too high of a price I would go here. We like their breakfasts that include coffee and a true fruit juice. If you got back several times within a month you get progressive discounts with the coupon you are given at your first visit. Enjoy!
This was a great find for us. Someone at the hotel recommend us this restaurant for local Mexican food. This is located at the parking lot of Wal Mart. Take bus R2 and get off at Walmart. For ~20 USD/each great lunch/dinner place. Clean. Local people with good budget eat here. Go for it.

This is a traditional Mexican food chain, it’s kind of famous there, placed next to walmart so it’s really easy to get there from your hotel. The food is REALLY good, and it is the real food Mexicans eat, so it is not like taco bell. We did ejoy it.
