La Habichuela Sunset Surpasses your expectations. Welcome: A unforgettable sunset awaits you. They say its a museum turned into a restaurant. Aside from its bold and modern arquitechture, the ambiance is based on the mayan culture with the intent of giving our customers a unique experience surrounded by masks of ancient kings, a 9 meter mayan column from floor to ceiling and a 30 meter hand carved kukulkan wooden snake. Our open garden area next to the lagoon allows you to dine with the stars and the moon. But our biggest pride being our exquisite dishes, from traditional yucatecan recipes to sophisticated caribbean/mexican fusions. We have a vast variety of international wines as well as national. We follow and maintain our founders philosophy of providing prompt and detailed service since 1977. Dont miss our mayan rituals shows during the week that will transport you in time to the ancient mayan civilization.

The only place we ate at twice

From service to food quality, it was great across the board both times. We had four people in our party both times and everyone was happy with their food. Great wine list and cocktails as well. We will definitely be back there upon our next visit in Cancun.

Very nice restaurant on the lagoon across from the Kukulcan mall. Beautiful restaurant in the Mayan style. Dinning indoor or outside next to the lagoon. I had the lime soup which was delivered in parts and made table side which was excellent and we both had the Tikin xic fish. I have been wanting to try that style fish for... More

The location is about in the middle of the hotel strip on the Lagoon side, Blvd Kukulkan. Doesn't look like much parking; better to you the valet. In same shopping center as domino's Pizza. Staff warm and friendly; extensive menu. Appears to actually make the food, rather than already pre-prepared. Particularly enjoyed salmon, tomales, and guacamole Nice atmosphere inside. Elegant... This restaurant features a free Mayan show, which is very enjoyable while you dine. The show goes on for about 30 minutes, and really captures what Mayan life is. In regards to the food, you may find yourself hungry afterwords. The outdoor patio is very romantic! The show and the atmosphere were more memorable in my opinion.

This Mayan designed truly beautiful restaurant offers sunset on the terrace or restaurant dining in a beautiful atmosphere. Most excellent classic Caesar salad, delicious tortilla soup and huge margaritas, excellently made. They will also take a wonderful photo of your family and put in a lovely frame.we are so glad we bought ours.

I'm so glad we didn't miss out on the good food before we left Cancun! We ordered Ceviche which was amazing, the fresh fish in the fresh lime juice were so good I almost finished all the chips they gave me before I even start my dinner course. We also ordered the lime soup and it is an absolute MUST!... More

We have been visiting Cancun for the past five years but there is only one restaurant on our "must go" list- La Habichuela Sunset. Their Fish Fillet Amaranth is my favorite entree ever- although we do try to order other seafood dishes. The combination of the fresh fruit flavors, the crunch of the amaranth coating and fresh fish is amazing.... More

Definitely exceeded expectations. Our server Jose was fantastic. The food was simply mouth watering! Our favourite was the tuna tar tar as starter! Definitely not a 'casual' dinner though!

Very over priced. Seafood was over cooked and had very little flavor. The special was $10 more than quoted in the hotel magazine (it warned prices may vary) three people 1 margarita 2 fantas, 1 sprite,3 over cooked, under flavored meals, one glass of custard $170.00 U.S. If you want to see the sunset, sit inside, as the lagoon view...
