This was the best meal of our vacation in Cancun! We reserved a table on the garden patio for my husband's birthday right as the sun was setting and it time for the Mayan dancers show. It was wonderful! Food and service were top notch--Caribbean style seafood special for 2 (could have been for 3) was outstanding. Order the Caesar... More

The intro bread was tasty. I ordered the coconut jumbo shrimp which were okay, I've had better but they were edible. We wanted to try the dessert as the table next to us was having the dessert prepared right at their table and it looked really tasty but we were so stuffed, our tummys didnt allow room for dessert. Outstanding: the service, the food, the ambience! Jose was very attentive! The rear patio is beautiful. If you go to Cancun, you must visit it.

We had two outstanding, imaginative meals here. We love traditional Mexican food with creative twists and found plenty of that on the menu, plus excellent margaritas. The ceviche Ixtapa is perfect--we ordered it both nights. We also tried the fish with barbecue sauce, the grouper Veracruz, and the shrimp steak with truffle sauce. All were incredible. The atmosphere is romantic... More

The rear patio is very romantic and the meal choices are. Creative and quite good. The name means string bean and there signature dish besides the soup is cocoanut shrimp served in a cocoanut. Not my favorite but most people liked it.

Beautiful atmosphere snuggled up to a little lagoon with an upscale Mayan Tomb Raider feel. Wait staff was good, although a little pretentious, and service was a little slow even by European standards. Food was decisively average and completely overpriced. Better options very nearby.

Nice restaurant garden seating, service was excellent, food was average, Mayan show which we had chosen to see was cancelled and Caribbean show was the alternative, we were disappointed. Price was slightly expensive for the meals we had.
