Beautiful restaurant with sunset views, indoor and outdoor dining. Great Mayan show (free) on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm. Food was excellent, service very good, great wine list, and you must try the Mayan Coffee. This is a show in itself and delicious!

Great seafood- I had the grilled shrimp, my husband had the shrimp, lobster and fillet...we loved it! The show was a nice addition to top off the evening. Service was great. It is expensive but worth it!

Went to the Habichuela based on location and some recommendations the place has a very nice setting right overlooking the lagoon and the weather was awesome. We went to celebrate my son in laws night before the wedding, we went with his brother and nephew. The only special comment was a nice ambiance a very nice Mayan ceremony well done... More

Went there with family. Verb good food, very good service. Desert was not so good, but the appetizers and main dishes were very good. Would recommend going for a great meal out

One of the nicer settings in Cancun from our experience, the room is beautiful, and the courtyard lagoon is very nice setting. I had the Grouper Tikin Xic, which was not Grouper, maybe Tilapia, the fillet was too thin to be a Grouper. A bit on the expensive side, but you pay for the setting. Service started out good, but... Our disappointment started with the wine list - the wine we selected (a Barolo) was not available but was suspiciously replaced by a Mexican Nebbiolo. When I inquired about the Mexican label the waiter disappeared for several minutes, then returned with the guy in charge who had another Northern Italian wine for which he wanted in excess of $200 and... We were seated at the top of the restaurant since I'm in a wheelchair, and therefore were unable to see 99% of the Mayan show, which is outside, on the terrace, down many steps with no access... That said, the food was very very good, and the service was gracious. I would recommend that anyone dining here be able to... More

We have been to the downtown La Habichuela restaurant many times during previous visits to Cancun. The La Habichuela Sunset venue was new since our last visit so we decided to give it a try, based on our previous experience with the company and the desire to avoid a 45 minute, sometime-harrowing cab ride into downtown. From Avenue Kulkulcan it... More

We sat outside and it was a beautiful romantic setting overlooking the lagoon. (the inside was lovely too) Food was yummy with many unusual Mayan, Caribbean and island flavors. Service was good and the show was bizarre but fun (Mayan dancers acting out sacrifice dances) Within walking distance from our hotel (The Westin Lagunamar) it was a fun find.
