Great for breakfast

Pasteleteria is a great concept for breakfast and lunch time, the green juice and all the fresh beverages are great, the eggs and mexican food is very good. Service is a bit slow but very warm and cozy. The best dessert is the one called: queso bola, simply awsome

So the pastries that we picked up to take with us on the drive down the coast were tasty enough, but the Cafe Americano was really watered down, extremely weak; and in my opinion the quality of coffee that a restaurant serves can make or break the place... We chose a different pastry shop in Playa on the return trip,... More

Went with my wife for something sweet late afternoon,( i am a pastry chef) i wanted to know the place. The hosstes walk me along the display fridge. What they have to offer was may be the week end left overs, the strawberies looked dark and not fresh, so we desided to order a few cookies, We gave them another... More

This is a table-service snack place walking distance from the Sheraton Four Points (and not much else). Tortes were top-quality. Prompt service.

Looking for the same exceptional breakfast we had experienced at the Playa del Carmen location we sought out The Pasteleteria in Cancun. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. The "cafe de olla" was overpowered with anis and when I asked for a replacement "cafe americano" the waitress brought me half a cup of the americano so I could dilute... More

We went 17 km on the bus(R-2) from our hotel twice for breakfast twice this week. Very cleanest restaurant downtown. Very delicious authentic mexican breakfast Good value. Waitress was very attentive and very friendly. The fruit plate was "beautiful " presentation with mix fruits. It was really worth the bus trip. Both time the bus driver let us right in... More

This place started as bakery originally and then added the savory menu and opened a cafeteria. The food is ok, to greasy and sometimes not that good. The bakery on the other hand is out of these world, I specially recommend the Bomba de Chocolate (chocolate bomb) either the big version or the mini version is awesome and delicious, totally... I always take friends that come from abroad to this restaurant whenever they visit Cancun. All of them, absolutely every single one of them has loved the food at La Pasteleteria. I always recommend the Molcajete Hacienda with the flank steak. It is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place :).
