Omg!!! We went TWICE for dinner!!! This place has it all! Ambiance, service, tasty food, 2 for 1 happy hour drinks & a dessert menu that will knock your socks off!! They have these little hot cast iron bowls loaded with cheese, meats, cactus, & veggies served with handmade corn tortillas! Yum!!!! Plus their Oaxaca cheese appetizer will sizzle your... More

We ate at La Pasteleria twice during our stay in Cancun. I would've eaten there every day, if it were in La Zona Hoteleria. Yummy pastries, eggs, pancakes, you name it. Terrific service and always bustling. I loved the basket of assorted pastries that came when seated. So good!

I really liked the food--local type dishes with a gourmet flare. I felt it was a bit pricey and although our waiter Gabriel was very friendly I can't say that the overall service was good. When we asked one waitress for the crepe menu we were told that no crepes were being made, however Gabriel did bring us that menu.... More

This review is based on two visits I've made to this particular establishment (located in Malecon Las Americas; I have no idea if the one on the Coba is better). The rating is wholly based on the last visit, which incidentally, was my birthday get-together. I'll start by saying that they have a fabulous gouda cheesecake (pastel queso de bola)... More

After two weeks in the Yucatan eating wonderful local food, we found ourselves spending our last night in the area with the airport hotel coffee shop as obvious dining option. I wanted our dinner to be memorable - so we adventured out on the city bus to go to Plaza de las Americas, in hopes to find someplace good to... More

First off, you don't need a cab: take bus #R2 from the hotel zone to downtown and put the address of this place on the GPS of your smart phone, get off when you are close, walk a few blocks, enjoy the local color and you will get there just fine. (bus is about $8.75 PESOS one way) We opted... More

There aren't too many coffee/dessert shops in Cancun that are great for meeting with friends. La Pasteleteria has a great environment & yummy desserts!

This small family owned business is downtown Cancun. They really excel at everything they do, both patisserie and their food. The prices are fair and service is over par. When you're done getting clobbered with hotel zone prices, take a taxi and visit. Worthwhile!

My friend and I were at the end of our lovely relaxing week in the Yucatan, and unfortunately had to spend a night in Cancun. It was really jarring our relaxed blissed out mindset, and my friend was having some stomach issues, but we stumbled on this place (really close to our hostel - Bed and Breakfast Garden) and really...
