TripAdvisor needs to update their records, TerraNeo has been closed since 2012 -- very sad, as it was an excellent restaurant. Another victim of the All-Inclusive trend at hotels, all-inclusive is killed the independent restaurants in the Hotel Zone.

Everything in this restaurant gave us an experience of a lifetime. There was an amazing acoustic music playing in the background. The restaurant is by the beach so you get see and hear the sea. The food was tasteful. The service was prompt and friendly. The dimmed lighting and candlelights added a romantic touch to the whole experience.

We have been to Terraneo twice. The first time was last year on a recommendation from our hotel concierge and we went again this year on a return trip to Cancun. It is on the water with pretty views and both times were delightful experiences. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. The wine selection is excellent and the desserts... More

A friend of mine recommended eating here and we did on our first night in Cancun. So romantic...great water views, awesome live music...attentive staff. The filet mignon and shrimp was excellent as an entree. I did have to send back my tune carpaccio because it tasted a bit off...we had chorizo, goat cheese and mushroom flatbread and ham and cheese... More

Stunning lagoon facing location which is unspoiled with light - to read the menu, one is given a torch (although this sounds silly, is perfect in the restaurants' surroundings as night views are totally unaffected). Tables are lit by candlelight which adds to the ambience. The Mediterranean menu is excellent and reasonably well priced - especially considering the large portions... More

This place was a wonderful surprise! We were looking for some wine and Tapas, and ended up here. It is on the Lagoon, with a great view and lovely breeze. We arrived early (around 6) and were the first in the restaraunt. We ended up having a very relaxed dinner, sharing 6 different dishes and a bottle of wine. Each... More

We are foodies, and after eating a lot of mediocre, over priced meals, happened on Terraneo. What a jewel. This is top notch food: interesting, creative, perfectly prepared and presented, and, they have have a real wine list. Here is a chef who cares about everything he touches, and his enthusiasm shines through. Asparagus soup was near perfect. The crab... More

This evening dinner was the highlight of our trip. Excellent food, service and wine. Live guitar music, which was a pleasure to listen to. No hesitation in recommending Terraneo, and we will go back the next time we are in Cancun.

We made reservations for 6PM and were the first in the restaurant. This made us a little nervous but we were early and others arrived 7 PM and after. The chief's complement of an original cerviche was delicious. We both ordered the asparagus soup which was excellent containing 2 asparagus spears and toasted parmasan cheese shavings crackers. This dish was... More
