We went here based on the reviews here, but were really disappointed. Soup and Mole Enchiladas we're among the worst I've ever had.

Me and a few friends came to cancun for a week.. We wanted to experience Mexican food and culture and man did Felipe show us how it's done! We went to calypsos lunch and dinner every day for a week. Felipe and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly offering tequila shots on the house most evenings and providing... More

We happened upon this little hidden place as we were shopping in town and needed a nail salon (next door) for Shellac polish! We stayed and drank for several hours and our bill was very reasonable! Had good food, the Rock Crab claws were huge! Loved the waiter, very friendly guy. We were the only people there midday so he... More

We visited this restaurant based on previous reviews. Not a fancy restaurant but the staff was friendly especially Philipe Gonzales whom we believe to be the owner or manager. I wanted to eat a whole fish and I was able to get it there. It was not too busy but is hidden out of site in the downtown area of... More

Went here last week to get dinner and watch one of the world cup matches. This place is nicely tucked away from the busy road, which is good in terms of reducing road noise, but means it doesnt benefit from much of a breeze. We had a variety of cocktails, the strawberry daquiri being the nicest, and the drinks were... More

Felipe and his staff are the best. Oh and of course the food was Excellent!! guacamole fresh, seafood delicious, shrimp platter was amazing. We are... More

Service was friendly but slow. Guacamole was excellent (most other places we've tried the guac was not home-made). Chips were a bit stale. Carne Asada burrito was not good. Fish and lobster meal had zero seasoning. Mariachi stopped at our table to seranade, and three ladies selling local wares. Usually enjoy hole-in-the-wall atmosphere places, but the food here is nothing... More

We were in Cancun last week and ate here twice. It's a small place, but has a good atmosphere. Felipe was there to greet us both times and took good care of us. The first time we watched the the Mexico -Brazil game and it was a lot of fun, because the place was packed and the food and the... More

We had read about this place and found it tucked away between two buildings. The owner was there and took care of our order and visited with us also. Very personable. Excellent food, will go back again.
