Nice local place

Friendly service, good food, better prices than hotel zone. Real Mexico. A few tourists, but predominantly locals.

First off Jesus is all that you've read about and more. Just an awesome guy who treats you so well. The guacamole is so great, quesadillas, Mexican rice, tacos, and the margaritas are amazing. It was nice to get away from the hotel zone prices. We ordered and ate so much at such a cheap price. Down the way there... More

This is not a big place. We were looking for a big sign but it's a small one. There are two tables inside and about five outside. The service was great and the food was fantastic. Giovanni and Jesus took good care of us. We ate here twice on our trip. At the time they had a deal on certain... More

My girlfriend and I stopped in here one evening after reading the trip advisor reviews, we where not let down in the slightest. Beers two for 50 pesos, and the food was very reasonable, even had to take some away as we couldn't eat it all! Would recommend/come here again

We visited the same restaurant (same name and owner) in playa del carmen (see review) a week before and found it so good so we decided to try this in cancun the night before going back home and the result was up to our expectations. Great food and service. Highly recommended if you are in downtown cancun

Location - next to parque de las palapas. From the hotel zone, take R1 or R2. Get off at the end at ave tulum. Head north to calle de Los tullipanes. Food - Good choice of usual Mexican fare. It is tasty and feels authentic. Price - the best part about this place is the value for money. Service -... More

I ate at this restaurant on 2 occasions, and the food was really good. They serve delicious, authentic Mexican food and great cocktails :-) The service was also really good and the staff even stayed after hours just so that we could have one more drink. Thanks for a great Mexican experience :-)

We waited until our last night to go here. I wish I had skipped lunch as I was too full to fully appreciate the food. Round the corner from burger king in downtown it's a real Mexican treat with huge portion sizes and great flavours.
