We were taken here by an Indian friend (born in India, now living in USA) who said this was his favorite Indian food in North America. I have to agree. Every bite of every dish was heavenly from beginning to end. I had a veggie plate and I'm not even a vegetarian, on the table we had samosas, lamb, shrimp,... More

After having eaten terribly touristy food for 5 days, we decided we wanted something simple. Since Elefanta was rather close by, we decided we would stop here for a simple indian meal- expecting very little from this place. We ordered the tomato shorba, which surprised us. It was perfect. That changed our minds, and we went ahead and ordered a... More

When you get charged USD 3 for a papad you know that you are being totally ripped off. It's not a Mich Star restaurant in Paris, get over it. That said, the food is decent. Very heavy, with a lot of cream, but decent. Stuff from the tandoor does taste good. Ambiance is okay, nice views, but tons of bugs... More

Intimate tables on the lagoon, they provide bug spray (use it). Lots of very different sauces on the side from sweet to nuclear hot! Yoghurt to extinguish the palatal fire. Lamb samosa was a tasty way to try all the sauces. The lamb entree was prepared tundoori style then curried. Lots of flavors there. I would have it again. Curried... More

We found this restaurant by accident last year. We never expected great Indian food in Cancun but that's what it is. The best Indian food we've had! Worth a try! The service is good. We've been back 4 times now and the food was excellent all four times. Just watch out for the mosquitos. We noticed every restaurant on the... More

We went here on our last night and it helped change my opinion of restaurants in Cancun after a couple of OK - not great experiences. Its accessed through a mall but dont let that put you off, its one of the most beautiful restaurants Ive been to. We were led outside around the back where you had private 2... More

Beautiful restaurant and ambience with lovely service. Complimentary peach daiquiri had artificial sweetener taste. DH had a lamb stew and I had chicken tikka masala. Order came within about 5 minutes so somewhat suspect. Lamb stew delicious; chicken tikka masala tasty sauce but dry, overlooked chicken; my local supermarket makes a much tastier version. Fortunately this item was taken off... More

Beautiful atmosphere with wooden tables and comfy benches on the water. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was extremely delicious. Well-seasoned. They were careful when I let them know of our daughter's tree nut allergy to steer us away from dishes where the nuts weren't mentioned in the menu description. Bill came to $100 US for four including 15% tip... More
