The food was really amazing with authentic Yucatecan and Mexican dishes. My husband lived in Mexico for over 6 years and really liked the Chicken in Mole Sauce. I enjoyed the Lime Soup and a delicious fish dish. The atmosphere was lovely as were the people working in the restaurant. Near by was the Zocalo with a large fair and... More

Very good authentic Mayan and other Yucatan specialties. Service can be slow when they get busy, but I prefer that to waitstaff hovering, so for me that isn't the worst thing. We stayed out in the hotel zone, so this was a nice chance to get a little more local flavor. Liked it so much we went back for a... More

The title says it all. The food was great and very authentic. We actually ate here twice. I had the tour of Yucatan the first time and pibil pork the second. Both meals were excellent, the service was very good, and the price was great. Definitely visit this restaurant.

We went on new years day at around 8pm. The restaurant had only two other parties. We were a bit worried but glad we stuck around for it. We had the lime soup and the Panuchos for starters. It tasted like the ones we had in Merida and the rest of the Yucatan places we visited when inland - authentic... More

We were at Labna for dinner on Dec. 30. The restaurant was less than half full. Our waiter was a young man who spoke no English and was rather surly. We asked for a wine list several times before he brought one and reproved us for not knowing how to ask for it in Spanish - even though one member... More

I found this spot years ago when travelling with friends. We're foodies, like to eat like locals and now, I always go back when in the region. The Yucatecan dishes are delicious and the sopa de lima is superb - subtle, aromatic. I've sampled various dishes and the pescado maculam is my favorite. Save room for dessert. The budin maya... Five years ago we were in Cancun and found this restaurant. We were pleased with the traditional Yucatan flavors. This is not a traditional Tex-Mex chips and salsa resteraunt. We were glad to see that it was still open when we were there this year. The service was exceptional and the food was very good. The waiter suggestion I try... More

I advice this amazing restaurant only to the people that can recognize real food and wanna try strange dish. Gabriel, the owner, is a good Chef... More

I had dinner here with my Australian cousin who had been staying in the Zona Hotelera and eating mainly at Mickey D's so it was her intro to Yucatan cuisine. She loved it. As did I. Had sopa de lima which was delicious. The room is high camp.

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant as it was the only one I could find nearby that had the traditional Yucatan cuisine I wanted (poc choc, cochinita pibil, papadzules, etc.) However, the dishes we tried just lacked distinctive flavor. Adequate, but disappointing. Service was fine.
