Stopped in for the afternoon Buffet, everything was very good during a busy wet day. The Buffet was very good and staff very helful explaining the various dishes.
My Partner & I enjoyed dinner recently at the Labna restaurant. We were staying in downtown Cancun so it was within walking distance of our hotel. The decor was wonderful - very Mayan-like. One almost felt as though one was in the actual ruins after which the restaurant is named. The food was excellent as was the presentation. Service was... More
Lovely restaurant situated at the side of a family oriented town square. Well worth the trip in from the hotel zone (take R1 and get off at 1st stop on Tulum street). Food is very authentic, fresh and delicious. Atmosphere is fantastic as are the staff. Very fair prices. Lots of friendly smiles and a welcoming feeling. Good choice.
I was more than pleased and surprised at the high level of this restaurant 's cooking and drinks, served flawlessly and with historical explanations of the Yucatecan cuisine by owner Gabriel Martinez. The value was superb! Definitely the best restaurant in Cancun if you value authentic cuisine prepared at the highest level of excellence and where you can dine causally... More
Two of the best meals I had in Mexico were at Labna. Service was fantastic, prices incredibly reasonable, food was delicious, and the drinks expertly made. I had both the queso rellano and relleno negro, both local Yucatan delights. Both came with amazing homemade tortillas. I enjoyed every bite. Very much worth getting out of the hotel zone to find... Tired of the americanized Zona Hotelera in Cacun and looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant in Cancun, we found a beautiful place, Labná "Old House". The restaurant is in el "El Centro" area, where you find the real Cancun. It is located near "Las Palapas" square, a 15- 20 min bus ride (Route 1) from the bustling, expensive and crazy... More
We traveled all around Yucatan, but the single best meal turned out to be in downtown Cancun. The restaurant was pretty and the service was knowledgeable (speaking some Spanish helped), but the real standout was the food. We had the Yucatan sampler and a turkey dish with almonds and pumpkin seeds. Fine cuisine, well presented, and suitable for a fancy... More
We enjoyed our meal at Labna, dishes were well prepared and tasty, if not particularly gourmet and the price was fair for the quality that was provided. Service and ambiance were quite satisfactory as well. Would not make a special trip to come here, but if it is convenient it offers good value and a tasty meal for the money.
Our family of four went to Labna's on our second to last night in Cancun. It was the best food we had eaten all week. The lime soup was excellent, as was the Yucatan chicken and steak dishes. The manager Gabriel was exceptionally friendly and helpful. In fact, after we left and were in a taxi heading back to the... More
