Best Key Lime Pie

We went with 10 people and EVERYONE loved their dinner. I had the tuna and it was excellent, but each person picked something different and it was all good. Very small, nice place.

Got the mussels as recommended but they were too dry and wasn't good. Other then that the escargot and fish of the day was pretty decent.

Not easy to find but has a quiet out of the way atmosphere. New owner, same chef. Food is still pretty good.

It's a little hard to find so take a taxi. The setting by the water is rustic and peaceful. The food is good--I like the French onion soup and the pork tenderloin. Service can be hit or miss, but we always return.

Every year when I get to go to Cancun I look forward to my visit to La Palapa Belga. The warm bread with pesto and whipped butter combination greets the guests. One of our group started with the escargot. They were delicious. Two of us had the pot of mussels. Again, very nicely done. The broth would be a great... More

I spent more than an hour trying to find a restaurant for my birthday (as Du Mexique was closed for renovations). Based on reviews here and recommendations from the hotel concierge, we booked here. It turned out to be a complete and utter disappointment. Nothing we were served that night met our expectations and even less so with the price... More

Forget all the touristic restaurants at Boulevard Kukulkan (zona hotelera). This cozy place is located just behind the Imperial Laguna hotel. There you can eat delicious french and belgian dishes with a perfect view of the hotel zone. If you are going on weekends, be sure to have a reservation.

La palapa is outstanding. We've been to cancun several times and this is our favorite restaurant by far. The food, atmosphere, drinks, and service are always worth the trip.
