Our family of four was seated with two other families around the teppanyaki grill. It's a familiar 'show' if you've been to other places (Benihana being the biggest chain version). Food was fresh and hot, since it came off the grill. Reasonable and good wine list.

Food is good, nice if you want a semi-formal dinner without going far. You can find better food for a lower cost.

We enjoyed the food here. The prices were reasonable for a hotel restaurant and the staff was very nice. I got Asian short ribs, which is pretty unique for a Japanese restaurant. They were delicious. You don't need reservations.

This place is located at the Casamagna Marriott Cancun and is a Hibachi type Japanese restaurant similar to Benihana of Tokyo. The food was not bad, but I would not be too eager to go back. The food tasted decent, the service was pretty good, but Benihana tastes much better when comparing the too. Also, it is petty pricey, but... More

Our family really enjoyed our dining experience at mikado. The hibachi grill was awesome and the food was delicious! It was a little pricey so if you are a guest of the Marriott properties be sure to ask for a dining passport card. We didn't discover it until afterward, but you can receive a 10% discount on your total bill... More

Inventive menu, everything was tasty. Decent prices. Nice break from Mexican food. We had short ribs and sushi. The menu does not specify when the sushi rolls are served hot or cold, so be sure to ask.

The food was amazing. We enjoyed a super exciting show from the chef while he was playing with the utensils. Diego, our waiter, attended us and made sure we were comfortable while dining. Definitely a must!!!

While others said they had the best meal, having done tepan yaki many times...we felt the food was a bit overcooked, the veggies odd choice for the grill. Other than that, it was a fun place and the cook was very entertaining.

Pork dumplings were raw and chicken over cooked. Shrimp was cut into pieces for fried rice, overrated and awful just like the last visit to Cancun
