Best meal in Cancun and one of the best I've ever had anywhere. The service is exemplary and so is the food. We loved our meal and look forward to going again.

Description: Since 1983 La Dolce Vita has been consistently rated as one of the top restaurants in Cancun, serving fresh sea food and home-made pasta, owned and operated by owners George Savio (founder), his son Tim and Juan J. Casal. Dolce Vita means ¨Sweet Life¨ in Italian and that is how an evening here will make you feel Our loyal clientele highly recommends the Signature Dish Boquinete Dolce Vita, a local snapper topped with shrimp and mushrooms, baked in puff pastry, and served with lobster sauce. The service is refined and friendly, dinner specials change daily to mach the season. Our diverse wine list from around the world complements your dinner. Private dining for parties of from 20 to 40 is a specialty Open Monday to Saturday from 1:00 pm till 11:30 pm. (Closed on Sundays). We were in Cancun last week and always make a point of going to La Dolce Vita at least once. From the moment you walk in the staff are friendly and attentive. The food is excellent, I highly recommend the oso bucco, although my wife always prefers a seafood, well prepared, hot and the critical part, vegetables are always hot...

Tasty food and very attentive service. Chilled plates for cold appetizers, warmed plates for hot appetizers. Chilled glasses for the white wine. Food selection and wine list were good. Specials of the day were excellent. Reasonable prices. Overall - very good experience. Would come back.

Even though its located in Cancun Centro its well worth the trip. The food is consistently great and the service is the BEST in Cancun. All the Italian dishes are made from fresh ingredients. Don't waste your time going to any other Italian restaurant!

Highly recommend La Dolce Vita in Cancun. Food and service were first rate. The waiter was very attentive to our needs. We got to visit and talk with the owner. At the end, the owner shared a drink with us.

The food, the portions and the staff were ALL great. The bread that came with dinner was delicious, and the staff kept bringing it fresh from the oven. The pasta is made in-house and is great. The manager even brought us a free drink at the end of dinner. I highly recommend!
