A resort town basically carved out of pure jungle, Cancun was nothing but birds and iguanas as recently as 1974, when development began. Set upon the Yucatán Peninsula, the city is thronged by famous ruins: centuries-old pyramids, temples of the ancient Mayans, travelers who didn't get to the Hard Rock Cafe in time. Just kidding! But you will be sorry if you miss us. Nightlife options are plentiful here, with everything to amuse from sports to gambling bars to romantic piano bars. Trust us 'cause we've already scouted it all out. By far the best choice is your resident expert on having a good time, yours truly, the Hard Rock Cafe Cancun. So after you've hiked through the exotic jungles and explored the ruins, get ready to uncover the real treasure, our Cancun Cafe! You'll find a valuable rock 'n' roll memorabilia collection at our exclusive restaurant, plus an incredible and unmatched expansive ocean view. Dig in and treat yourself to a delicious lunch or dinner!

Right on the strip

A little over priced, but in the heart of the college crowd area. Stop in for a cold one and watch the traffic pass by, or the other tourist. Friendly staff.

So tasty, excellent service. Went twice, first time we had burgers which were divine. Second time we had a sharer starter and fajitas. We thought they were big enough portions to share. Defintely recommend

We ate here on 2 occasions, we loved the food and the cocktails even more, great view out of the windows of the beach and sea! Food was ample so much so we couldn't finish it all, but just what we needed!

When I discovered the restaurant closed, I made the trek down to the hotel to acquire my Hard Rock paraphernalia. I was denied access to even purchase souvenirs. Really disappointing the "Love All - Serve All' philosophy does not apply in Cancun.

Same as any other Hard Rock Cafe. Music to enjoy, nicely decorated. Pay parking available. Food is average but tasty. A little expensive for what you get but that is typical for these type chains. Service was good.

location closed recently, Feb 2015. Due to management not in compliance with corporate. Observed several pissed off employees waiting to be paid sitting on the restaurant front stairs.

In addition to an excellent meal and awesome service my sweetheart and I spent over an hour just wandering around taking in and photographing all of the memorabilia!!! As you can see from some of the attached pictures. Highly recommended for both the food, service and ambiance.

We went on a visit and really hoped to get a Cancun T-shirt for our son. Unfortunately, they didn't have any and just had Mexico on which they thought was fine. Not when you want a Cancun one ! Anyway, we ate well and the service was good once we got seated. The food was of a decent fast food... More

I guess I'm more into authentic food. I could get hamburgers back in Houston. Hard rock will be hard rock I just went in here to buy some pins and we decided to eat here. Nothing out of the ordinary.
