As a recommendation by the concierge at our hotel we made reservations and ate at the Crab House. The restaurant is located in the Hotel Zone west side of the island closer to downtown. I ordered calamari for an appetizer and two orders of Stone Crab for dinner. The Stone Crab was great! It came already cracked and ready to... More

Let me start off by saying the service was fantastic and that's where the good ends. We got a seafood platter for two to share and it was horrible. All the seafood (lobster, crab, shrimp) were way over cooked. It was like chewing on a Michelin. The grouper however was decent. They did have a bread basket with the meal... More

Do not eat anything else, just eat crab, crab, crab. That is the whole point of this! Good food, lonely place (we were just there with another couple...weird), but overall good. Do notgo to the terrace at dusk otherwise you will be massacred by the lagoon mosquitoes.

This is a great restaurant with a great location on the water. The seafood was tasty but a little expensive. My son loved his meal of king crab legs, stone crab and shrimp. The shrimp were the size of a grapefruit and tasty. The waiter was lovely and informative and anxious to please, which I liked. I loved this restaurant... More

Stopped by here because it was recommended by the hotel. The food was good. We had the seafood paella (yum), crab cakes, lobster guacamole, ceviche, and strawberry cheesecake to end the meal. The food was good and the seafood was fresh. I would totally go back again!

This is a nice restaurant, inside and out. The food ( stone crab) was pretty good, and fairly priced. My only complaint was with the bus boy, actually girl, I think. She would come by the table every two or three minutes, and start removing our food items. She took our bread plates away, with bread still on it. She... More

Dine at the Crab House every time I'm in Cancun. The lobster is amazing. Their special cocktail sauce alone is worth the visit.

We went to this restaurant as it was close to the hotel and looked nice from the outside. First of all, the parking here is only valet; no set price but pay in tips. The bread is absolutely yummy! We ate outside facing the lagoon which was beautiful cool and no mosquitoes. The food tasted great, but not large portions... More

We went there after a jungle cruise and were totally surprised at the great food & service. We plan to return for dinner soon.
