No matter what you order, seafood/steak/chicken/mac'n'cheese, all food is made fresh and is to die for. The martini's are exceptional. Of course a meal at Captain's Cove is not complete with a dessert made tableside. Great value!!

This restaurant was excellent. The best meal I have had anywhere! The food here was great and the service unbelievable. It was a recommendation from another family member. It was pricy but well worth it.

We had a table alongside the lagoon. It's very pretty looking out at the City of Cancun. The service and food were good - above average. As Royal Resorts members, we got 10% off; that helped!

We went as part of the all-inclusive with our hotel. Food is good, a few appetizers, e.g. mussels were terrific. The service is OK..some better than others. Front desk is very disorganized, takes far too long to seat people, despite reservations. The view on the deck is beautiful but can be extremely windy and chilly as sun goes down. Bottom... More

Great all around experience. Super ambiance and delicious seafood. Wine was tasty too! A must stop. It is a pioneer and has been around for years. Swing in for a great meal.

OK - so it was really good but not the best meal we ever had. We actually wanted to eat at Pancho's and Willies but it wasn't really a place you could order from with a menu. Soooooo.. don't go down there to eat. We had very good service and my coconut shrimp was great. Husband had shrimp with fettucini... More

We had a special - stuffed grouper which was the good, would get this again and shrimp 3 ways. They were average at best. Very good might be generous, but at least the one entree was appetizing.

Beautiful lagoon sunset and open air dining. Food is delicious. We're always very happy with our meal at Captain's Cove. Service is excellent. Nice evening out, but relaxed enough to bring the kids. Fish fingers with vegetables are the most beautiful kids meal anywhere! The kids love to see the fish and the occasional crocodile swim by for a bit... More

Finally got to Captain's cove Restaurant after encountering some trouble connecting on the Royal shuttle from VCI to Royal sands. ( Had to taxi it). We were seated in about 15 minutes and had a terrific view on the sun-deck over-looking the lagoon and the bobbing sailboats. I ordered a red-snapper that that was wonderfully prepared. Our waiters Manuel, and... More
