High quality restaurant and the seafood was excellent! Bus or shuttle goes right to this eatery in the hotel strip and it was included in our all inclusive package. Great food, great waterside table and highly recommend it!

Food was very good, although a bit pricey for families. Right on time, at 8pm, Pancho and Willey, the resident crocs in the lagoon showed up. Great for the kids to see. Ask for a table at lagoon side, although at times it can get buggy during the summer.

Beautiful setting in the bay. Picture is accurate, crocodile came right up to our table. Food was good, definitely on the pricey side but a nice restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. I ordered steak and lobster. Filet was good, lobster was a little tough and had a bit of an aftertaste, which I thought might be normal for Caribbean... More

We always have great food here. It's easy to get to and there is often entertainment during or after dinner. It's a little more pricey than some other places by the food is great.

I had the most wonderful lobster dinner at Captain Coves in Cancun! This restaurant had excellent service, delicious food and reasonable pricing. It is a must do in Cancun. The sunset over the bay was spectacular! The food and service provided gave us the best dining experience we had the entire week we were in Cancun, the sunset just topped... More

I have been to Captain's Cove several times over the past 15 years or so. Always impressive - the food, the ambiance, the waitstaff. My sister and I visited several days ago for dinner. We were asked whether we preferred to dine inside or out - we said out. We were taken into the adjoining bar - Pancho & Willy's... More

Made reservations here while staying in Cancun at the Royal Sands. One of the best dinners I've had! Everything was good from the apps, to the salads to the dinner all the way to the dessert. Try to get there early and choose to sit outside if possible. You won't be disappointed with the sunset. Will definitely be back if... More

Not impressed with Sunday Brunch as it was mostly catering to the local Mexican clientele and not North American. Had no Bacon, Sausage or Ham. Reminded me of a sub-standard all-inclusive breakfast buffet at a hotel. The bill was charged to our Royal Resort card and did not show details like the 10% discount we were suppose to receive. We... This is my new favorite restaurant! Sitting out on the veranda at sunset is stunning. The fare was to die for. The staff exemplary! That simple. If you visit Cancun this is a place you must dine at!

The best thing in the restaurant was this bread that comes to your table. But you know it's a problem when the host comes to your table and ask you did you enjoy your food and you say , I haven't still even received my food yet. At that point we should have got up and left because it all... More
