Good food

We made a reservation for inside at 6:30 PM and even though the place was fairly empty we were given a table in the corner, but the food was good and that's the important thing. BTW unless you are a big eater don't order an appetizer because they bring chips and salsa.

A yearly adventure usually more than one visit. Always great food, the mocaheta's are really good and one will feed two normal folks.

The margaritas are very good and big. Service was great and food is above average. I would dine there again.

Vacation size margaritas. Well executed shrimp. Chilli relleno in puff pastry was very French interpretation but a bold choice by the chef that worked well. Tableside salsa was very good.

After looking at TripAdvisor we booked our group of 6. The food was outstanding and i rally recommend the Tequila cheese appetizer. Make sure your get the "Vacation" sized margaritas as they were delicious as well. IF you can get seated on the patio over the water!! Great place, not cheap but worth the price

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and gave us a free drink coupon to use. We arrived by taxi and went inside to be greeted by 2-3 huge distilleries just inside the restaurant. We were seated and given our drinks - something like a margarita, but with a wonderful green melon flavor that made the drink very smooth. Chips and 3... More

Food and service were fine, there were strolling mariachis that were fun. There is a great tequila shop downstairs, very knowledgeable guy running it. We tasted 6 different tequilas, he explained what we were trying and the difference in each. Bought an extra anejo bottle to take home, one you can't get everywhere.

This restaurant is a 20 minute walk from the Beach Palace. We sat outside facing the lagoon. Our waiters were very nice. We started our evening with a shot of 1800 Tequila and tomato juice chaser. We followed that with a Dos Equis beer. Our guacamole was prepared at our table by our waiter, David. It was delicious. I ordered... More

Arrived in Cancun late on Monday afternoon. Grabbed a drink at the hotel and headed to La Distileria based on Trip Advisor ratings. We were a bit worried because we hadn't made a reservation but we found the the restaurant very empty (a plus for us but not the restaurant). The lack of customers made me a bit concerned but...
