Forget the Disney Land reference in a previous review, this restaurant is excellent. By that, I mean the food is excellent, service is very attentive, and the view is excellent. I ate there last night with my daughter, the food was amazing. We ordered the Flank Steak & Chicken Molcajeta which is a volcano rock bowl filled with the following:... More

i HIGHLY RECOMMEND La Distileria. Their service was very professional! We had two waiters helping our table of four. They were extremely polite and knowledgeable about the menu. Their food was very flavorful. I would recommend my dish which was Pescado Al Cilantro.. BOMB! The fish was juicy and soft with a cilantro sauce that I could not get enough... More

Had reservations at 1:00 (which is when they open). We got there and they were closed but we could see workers inside. We waited with a few other couples for about 30 mins and a lady through he door told us they aren't going to open until 2:00. It was about 90 outside and they didn't offer us a drink... More

You gotta love the rustic, creative atmosphere. The staff is friendly, fun, and efficient. Seating options are the outside deck overlooking the lagoon or inside with A/C. The steak prepared table-side plus the roving Mariachi band made for a fun "dinner and a show" experience. We have been several times and the staff and food never disappoints.

No matter what you eat here , it will meet the needs of everyone. Was there with local Mexicans from the area and they rave about it still. Take the time to go there .

First our hotel sent us here after we requested "local" mexican. I'm sure there is some kind of agreement with the hotels for their recommendations since they ask you when you arrive what hotel you are staying at and note it. I had a terrible time here. It's like every bad mexican tourist trap rolled into one, from the decor... More

Great Tequila tasting ever! we tried almost all of the tequilas they had, El Jimador, Herradura, and so much more, these tastings were presented with several different traditional appetizers for us to enjoy, The price was great for the vast amount of drinks we had. We return the next evening to have dinner and the food was as expected very... More

The food was so good and the drinks hit the spot! We stumbled upon this place and I'm glad we did! I had a cheese stuffed pepper baked in puffed pastry and DH had a dish with beef, chicken and sausage, they were both really great. We ended with the caramel crepes. There was some live music which was enjoyable.... More

Great atmosphere, great food! The staff was fun and friendly, and the guacamole is to die for. Do yourself a favor, eat on the patio. Its a great view and worth the wait if needed. Try their tequila selection...

We took a flier on this one - and it turned out great. We stopped for dinner on a Monday night. The outdoor seating was great. We watched the fisherman wrap up their boats for the day as the sun was setting over the city. The food was excellent, especially the guacamole and the one-pot meal, which we shared. The... More
