Get a good breakfast.

Great food, great service. A unique serving tradition of the coffee that is only seen here. Always busy on Saturdays and Sunday.

Café La Parroquia is know for its coffee, especially the way it is served. The presentation is a show in itself. The food is good and the location within Veracruz is very convenient too. This is a wonderful meeting place for the locals too.

A must visit place in Vera Cruz. Everybody comes here at least once and many come everyday. THE people watching spot in Vera Cruz for many decades. Open 24/7. The coffee (a Lechero) is the main beverage and is delicious. The food isn't particularly special, but who cares. Often impromptu entertainment.

There are more than one locations throughout the city where you can enjoy tradicional Veracruz dishes. I have been to more than one. Although the food is consistently fabulous, the service can vary from one place to the other. The best service so far has been at Plaza las Americas in Boca del Rio and the not so good in... More

I liked the place because it´s like a landmark of the port of Veracruz. The breakfast was ok, but really loved the coffee! The location is also great with a view of the port. You can see it from a 360º picture I took from the port: http://digital-editorial.com/recorridos360/VeraPuerto.html

This is an institution in Veracruz. They have been her since 1808. I have been married to a Mexican from Veracruz for 20 years and this is always a spot we hit when visiting. The coffee is very good, and it is a huge tradition. It has gotten very expensive by Mexican standards, and the food has become mediocre at... More

Love the coffee here... It was so rich and dreamy. I wish I could drink more than one, but if I did I would probably get too shaky. Services was nice, they pour the coffee and then a guy comes and adds the steaming milk in the glass. It is very fun to watch!

It's a place where I guess you have to go check it off your list. Coffee is good. Ambience is so-so. DO NOT order food. Mediocre and very overpriced.

There are several locations. We were at the most famous one, next to hotel Emporio. Very efficient crowd management. We were there during Carnival and there were lots of people everywhere, but the restaurant did a good job of organizing the line and seating people quickly. Waiters were very quick and attentive. The menu is extensive but we only went... More
