Great place for breakfast but...

Great place for breakfast but... No Wifi, and it is a little bit crowed in the morning. Coffee is delicious and very good for groups.

This place is an institution in Veracruz. The coffee they serve, lechero, is a real performance. You get a glass with a shot of espresso, then a waiter comes over and pours hot milk into the glass, raising the pitcher up so the milk falls into your glass from on high, creating a frothy drink. The food is so so,... More

I recently visited this classic restaurant on Veracruz but it was not what I remembered...I must say a huge dissapointment. The waiters are very rude (they've always been like that I don't know why...) and they are talking with each other instead of attending the tables, it took a long time to get our order and so on. The café... More

Don't eat at the modernized La Parroquia. You definitely need to eat at the classic one and ask for coffee. It's absolutely amazing, and the milk boy (waiter who carries a milk pitcher) will do this waterfall that is very photo worthy

If you never been to Veracruz, this is a most stop, especially in the evening to rest and catch up. The serving of a cup of coffee is quite a show. The waiter places a cup in front of you and pours the delicious liquid from about 2 feet up and away!

Good food, waiters spoke some English. Prices are competitive when compared to similar establishments. It is well lit and looks very clean.

Stopped here after a musical concert during Carnaval, just got in the door before the queue system started (which is very quick anyway). We had some basic sandwiches and I had a chocolate malt milkshake with my girlfriend having an iced coffee drink. The food was simple but very very tasty and I had to restrain myself from ordering another... More

Busy, kitchy, delicious coffee and good food at good prices. The waiters are talented, dancing between tables of customers, waiting customers, other waiters and busboys, and the occasional muscians that perform. Don't miss this!
