Delicious!

We had the whole restaurant to ourselves but I'm sure it's very busy in high season. Consequently, service was great. We shared some lamb and a salad - oh my, it was utterly delicious. If you're in Veracruz & fancy a break from tacos - go here.

I had the Parrillada Tango. I asked well done temperature, they brought it almost raw. I liked the decoration, bright yellow and nice arches inside. Some people were smoking in the non-smoking area. I complained, the waiter was powerless. We were moved instead of the other people. A detailed analysis with pictures of my dining experience there can be found... More

Came here and ordered the arrachera. I used to live in Argentina and this was not Argentinian beef. Even if it was Mexican beef it was not very tasty and just came with an onion and a chile and tortillas? Wtf? You don't serve steak with that. On top of that it was very pricey. Have since learned where to... More

The quality of the steaks at Che Tango was superb! We ordered churrasco (strip loin) and vacío (the waiter described the cut as similar to arrachera), 200 grams of each, and wow! what a meal. The meat was quite tender, but the flavour was outstanding. The steaks and a green salad made a terrific meal. The service was equally excellent.... More

The port of Veracruz is famous for many things. Delicious food is one of them. But you hear about freshly cooked sea food and Mexican food. It is rare that someone even mentions meat. Well there are some excellent restaurants in Veracruz if you want to taste grilled meat. I can recommend three restaurants. In this review I will go... More

We were in Veracruz for two weeks and ate at this restaurant four times. They have fabulous steaks, a nice wine menu, unique and very delicious potato pillows. Our group expanded to five one night and everyone agreed that the food was terrific. If you go you'll find the staff friendly and accomodating.
