The view was great but the food was the worst that I had in Mexico. The tampiquena tasted and looked that reheated food. The fideo soup was sour, rice and chicken had no flavor at all. I would not recommend this place all. It was a total disappointment especially for the prices we paid

We had dinner at La Flor de la vida April 5, 2014. It was our first trip to Taxco, Guerrero, Mexico. Being that my husband and I are Vegan, the kitchen made special arrangements to making our dinner 100% to our liking. We ordered the Molcajete made up of completely Vegetables. They brought back a MASTERPIECE! They put Grilled Broccoli,... More

We were there for lunch on a beautiful (there is no other kind in this part of Mexico) day in February and we were the only diners on the rooftop. It IS a hike up the stairs but truly worth it! The wine was excellent (unusual for Mexico) and the food was too. We had an Italian dish and a... More

We recently had dinner here during a visit in Taxco one evening. This restaurant had great potential due to its excellent location in the zocalo and views of the church, however the service for us was lacking. We had a great location outside at the very top, but the power went out for about 5 minutes. This wasn't a huge... More

We ate at Flor de la Vida on our last night in Taxco. We weren't expecting much, as it looks like a big tourist restaurant right on the zocalo and this is usually not a good sign. Boy, were we surprised! The restaurant was very crowded on a Saturday night so they led us to the top floor and out... More

Great views and good food. Fresh squeezed OJ and a giant fruit plate with yogurt and ganola. Only thing missing Cafe de Olla!!

Both pollo asado and carbonara didn't taste good at all. The food on other guests plates looked like it's a snack bar but not the restaurant with prices above average. The staff is quite attentive though it doesn't make the food any better.

The servings were small. We were served toasted bread from the store, not the readily available breads from the bakeries.

Excellent views of the plaza and friendly, efficient service. Continental cuisine offers typical American style dinners, some take Mexican style food and very good salads.

It is on the main plaza, you take stairs all the way up to end up on a nice terrace that gives the best view of Taxco. Menu and A la Carte options are plentiful and costs very reasonable. A very good experience.
