Yummy but...

This is an expensive restaurant. The food was delicious but none of the meet was to the cooked level we wanted. I got the angus and it was Amazing!! My friends got the arrechera which was not a great meat cut. All of ours were slightly undercooked. We did not but would recommend asking for the... read more

An interesting dining experience in a quaint setting. Food was good, could work on better service. The place is almost always busy and here is outside dining for those who want to brave the cooler air and enjoy a lass of chilled wine (from Argentina, of course)! They also serve an Argentinean beer (Quimmes) which doesn't taste bad at all.... More

I was craving a good steak after 2 months travel around Mexico (don't get me wrong I have loved Mexican food but just needed a change). I'd walked past this place many times & after watching a documentary about the Zapatistas I wanted to treat myself. I ordered the Entrada steak (300g) & a gls of house red. Whilst waiting... More

After eating mexican food and sea food for a week, this was a great treat. We asked for the entraña steak and it was great. It is a little bit pricey, specially the wine list, but a nice looking restaurant in a very busy street.

A little pricey for the town where it's located, $30/person, although it's supposed to be one of the best restaurants in town and it's in the busiest tourist street. The food was alright. The steaks were good and tasty but I don't believe that they are imported from Argentina as claimed. Definitely not the same quality. The empanadas were just... More

Nice enough place, good service. Steak was disapointing however. And, let's be honest, that's why you go there in the dirst place. And fairly expensive. Good winelist, reaonably priced.

Empanadas were excellent as was the carne plate. Service was excellent. They have a good selection of vino as well.

This was one of several good meals we have enjoyed in San Cristobal de las Casas. The food was cooked as we requested. The service was attentive and fast, Husband had the vacio cut and I the arrachera. The menu has good variety though they are best known for beef.

I had dinner there on a Saturday night and I knew some of the waiters from sitting outside and having wine a few days earlier. I entered the restaurant and it looked just like a typical South America Restaurant. Decor, table and atmospher. I had the steak and fries and a bottle of Argentino red wine and an appetizer called... More
