We had breakfast here. The foods are fresh but taste is just above the average. They sell organic foods like vegetables, herbs, fruits and etc on 1st floor. They also sell lots of organic products like shampoo, soap, detergent and etc on 2nd floor. There is a organic garden on 2nd floor too.

This is a business with deep integrity. Rooted in the community to source and promote a local, organic food system, they bring it to us at the table beautifully and deliciously ! If we had visited La Casa del Pan earlier in our trip, we would have eaten most of our meals here. We were here for lunch (late as... More

We enjoyed eating here, and it became one of our groups favourite hangouts. Very often they had live music in the evenings which was nice. Food is good quality, local/organic and caters for vegetarians/vegans

Enjoyable evening meal here - although not vegetarians. Sorry unable to remember what we ate, but we had no problems. Visited the 1st floor- where many of the vegatables, herbs, fruit etc were grown. Enjoy

Being vegetarians we were recommended to eat at casa del pan. It is an atmospheric restaurant that uses only locally and fairly produced food and drink. I can recommend the food, it is nice to have so many healthy veggie options. The oyster mushroom salad is especially good. They also serve kambucha which was nice to find.

We went to this restaurant for lunchtime and got an All-You-Can-Eal-Buffet for just 110Pesos. The food was really fresh and super tasty. After a long time taveling it was great to eat REAL, fresh, homemade bread. They have a bunch of different breads and cakes. We definitly can recommended this restaurant and the store.

I reside in San Cristobal half-time (the other half-year in Santa Fe NM, a gourmet pleasure city). While the regional cuisine of Chiapas does not equal that of Oaxaca, Jalisco, Puebla, etc - San Cristobal has a fair number of "foreign" cuisine restaurants: Italian, French, some Asian (not many good ones), Argentine, etc. I dine out regularly in SanCris (as... Excellent in every way - particularly after a lack of healthy options in Mexico. Highly recommend and wish we had found this place earlier! Very affordable too!

I arrived there after having had lunch in El Argentino (good, btw!) craving a meat free meal, and left quite satisfied!. Special stars (that day) was the mushroom lasagna (super super nice!) and the corn bread was to die for. Service was kind of "normal" and the waiter even came a bit worried when i was looking into one of... More

The food is great and they go out of their way to accommodate people with specific needs oe dietary choices. The breakfast tamales were excellent...hard to find tamales in Mexico without animal fat. They have a store, cinema, garden, school and probably more in the same building.
