We came here for lunch and arrived right when they opened. We brought our 3-yr-old and 9-month-old with us and sat at a table near the grass. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. They treated our children kindly and allowed our oldest to move around and play. They also spoke English well enough to explain the menu and... More

It was very good before, but now in this new location its even better, the food is very good, the pizza and the salads are great! The owner is a great guy, he even gave us complimentary homemade limoncello.

This is my moms favorite restaurant in Oaxaca, and certainly now one of mine. Me and a friend enjoyed pizza and wine there!!! Truly Italian and truly delicious!

We thoroughly enjoyed our first Italian meal in Oaxaca. The friendly welcome and service along with the delicious fish mains and scrumptious desserts made it a memorable lunch. Our server was delightful and full of interesting tidbits of information about the food and the city. We will be sure to return next winter when we plan to return to this... More

Exceptional food, exceptional service. Funny eating Italian in Mexico but we found the restaurant a very pleasant surprise.

We visiting this restaurant after seeing it was number 2 on Trip Advisor. We made the mistake of going on a Monday when it was closed, but then returned on Tuesday. It was a 30 minute walk from the Zocalo. Instead of a bread basket we received little cheese and tomato brochettes which were amazing - actually the best part... More

WE have eaten at this restaurant four times and it is one of the reasons we continue to go back to Oaxaca. We love the food, atmosphere and the staff. WE walked in after a year and the waiter gave me a hug and remembered me. The end each meal with a glass of complimentary Lemoncello and that is reason... More

We have known and followed Mexita, the labor of love of a Neapolitan married to a Oaxaca woman, since it had barely two tables and little more than a hot plate in the corner. The food is and always has been great. Enrique spares neither effort nor expense in finding the best seafood from the bay of Naples to the... More

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Oaxaca City. The food is excellent and the service too. They have the best pizzas baked in the garden-side wood-fired oven. They have a new location at Dr. Federico Ortiz Armengol # 105 (near the corner of Calz. Porfirio Díaz), in Colonia Reforma. It is about 25 minutes walking from downtown Oaxaca.... More
