Fun place to try a torta!

This very popular place has very good tortas (sandwich on a roll) It took the help of a local to put in my order but it was worth it.

We ate here a couple years ago when we saw how many locals were lined up waiting for their food. They've perfected the process. There are menus, you order and pay and are given a handwritten receipt. When your name is called your food is handed to you on a plastic plate. There are spicy condiments and small boiled potatoes... More

Go for it! Really nice to eat it in the park. You have the choice of having it on a red plastic plate which you need to return or in a brown bag. Lots of sides on offer.

They are located at Conzatti Park, for me as the best tortas, there might be a line, but employees tries their best to get your food ASAP. If you want to try some local flavor this is the place

We lined up with a lot of other folks on a Saturday afternoon to get one of the famous Hormiga tortas and they didn't disappoint. We ordered the Queso with chicken and the Queso with pork. Yummy.

I would not recommend a street vendor unless they were recommended by others and safe for gringos. This food trailer, always at the SE corner of Conzatti park, serves tasty Tortas, the Mexican answer to the sub sandwich or the philly cheese steak. The large bun is stuffed with a vegetable mixture to which you add your choice of meats.... More

This cute street stand has been serving great Fortas in the same place on Conzati Park for seven years that I know of. Always busy with gringos as well as locals. Don't miss the Torta Cubano!

At a corner of Victor Gomez Farias and Reforma in the Jardin Conzantii we found La Hormiga (The Ant), a clean, well organized cart selling a variety of inexpensive Tortas all served on really fresh bread. $20 to $30 pesos.

The location on the corner of Conzatti Park is perfect as ones delicious torta can be enjoyed in the beauty and tranquility of the lovely park, or bring it home. A wide variety of tortas (my favorite is the Cubana) available for under $3. Breakfast or lunch, always a line of locals, which is a good sign.

Great selection of "tortas," fast as can be except of course it there is a lineup of locals. There are several locations, but the one most convenient to downtown tourists is at the south end of Conzatti park.
