A bit out of the way, this nice little restaurant strives to please. For a very reasonable price, they serve a 4 course lunch that is simple and tasty. The restaurant is quiet and nicely decorated with locally woven tablecloths. You can't do much better for the price. Give it a try.

This restuarant was recommended by a friend for a good wood fired pizza. When we arrived, the place was empty and the lights were dim. As we were about to leave, an older woman beckoned us and asked what we were wanting. We told her the pizza, and she said it wouldn't be a problem, even though the oven was... More

It was an excellent cooking class with a tour of the market. It was a nonparticipatory cooking class but well done.

Last year, this was an excellent restaurant. This year, it has downgraded its menu somewhat. It's still good, but not so ambitious in the kitchen.

We were delighted to find the corrida comida available when we arrived at 6:30 this evening. With four main course options, we sampled two different entrees. I found the dorado cooked in paper to be light and delicious, seasoned perfectly with garlic and herbs. My friends chose chicken topped with green pipian (pumpkin seed) mole which was mild and flavorful.... More

Years ago we ate in a different restaurant with the same name. This is a modest restaurant on a side street. Good not great food we didn't try pizzas but that may be a good bet here as they have a wood burning oven. Excellent value.

A somewhat unpretentious atmosphere in a courtyard with a moderate number of tables. We went there for lunch and they only option was a set four-course meal, although it had some options within it -- for example, a choice between two soups, a choice of dressing for your salad, a choice of 5 entrees, a refreshing dessert, and a pitcher... Cozy family run place. Food was ok, choice limited (on our visit, restaurant was out of meat!). However this place is nowhere close to top, and especially top 1 :))

Just returned to Oaxaca Nov 16. Los Narajos has been sold since we were last here. The new owners are not doing the same job as other owners. Didn't see another place to update prior review. Can you remove the old review?
