Good Coffee and Drinks

This is a great coffee shop. The selection of drinks is somewhat vast, with many local selections, as well as more traditional American/Italian options. Prices are high in comparison to other Oaxacan coffee shops, but reasonable by tourist standards.

you must have the corn bread. Pane elite. Many expats hang out here so you are sure to find your native tongue being spoken here.

This is the best coffee in Oaxaca. This is a store front for the best coffee roaster in Oaxaca. Cafe Americano strong and flavourful the way I like it. Nice casual place for coffee and simple foods.

Whenever I see a cafe full of local students, I head straight in. This exactly fits the bill. Excellent breakfasts of all the wonderful Mexican varieties (they must have the most diverse breakfasts in the world) and very good coffee. Highly recommended for these purposes.

Five of us went there for coffee. I ordered black coffee, the others ordered specialty coffees. My friends' coffees were very good, mine was acidic with an unpleasant flavour. My friend who tasted it did not think it was drinkable. The bathroom was disgusting, the place is aimed at tourists and is not cheap.

Ate here almost every morning the entire weeks in Oaxaca and completely enjoyed it: extensive menu, sweet staff, fresh baked good rolling out of the kitchen all morning long. Excellent coffee!! lots of locals in here, but tourists and ex pats in the know here as well.

We kept looking for a latte we could love as much as those in the Pacific Northwest and this is where we landed. Breakfasts were delicious, more than ample, and then, that good coffee. My faves were the fruit plate and the chilaquiles. Yum.

I really enjoyed coming here, partly because it was so clearly a favorite of locals. The service was attentive, the coffee was yummy. I had a pastry for breakfast, but the other meals looked good too.

The prices are great and the food is tasty and well priced, the service is good, but maybe they could be a bit faster on delivering the food. A bueno-bonito-barato breakfast (the mexican standard for good-nice-cheap) is aroung 70 pesos, which is great and will give you energy for a big part of your day!
