The meals are very tasty, great service and a wonderful place to grab a mid-day meal. Great window views of El Llano Park.

After a beer on a rooftop terrace just down from Mezzaluna's on Calle Allende, we decided to grab a light dinner of pizza. Around 5 pm, the restaurant was nearly empty, so we quickly ordered and consumed a very tasty wood fired Pizza Margarita! For four of us, the family size pizza for $205MEX was just about perfect. The best... More

Some of the best Italian food, always eat here when visiting Oaxaca ... love it! I make it a point to eat in the little room with blue tile flooring .. open to the street. This visit was still to high standard. The best calamari, a beautiful shrimp salad and killer Napoletana pizza. Second night, fresh papardelli with shrimp and... More

We took a break from all the yummy Oaxacan food one night during our trip and ended up quite pleased with the food at Mezzaluna. The wood fired pizza was just how we like it, very thin and quite tasty. It was fun to watch the guy making the pies and shoveling them in and out of the brick oven... More

The pizza here was so good we had to return, twice last year and twice this year. The location is less than a block west of Santo Domingo on a wide pedestrian side street. Eating upstairs on the rooftop was lovely at sunset.

Now called "La Campagnola", it features a wood-buring pizza oven. This is high-end pizza and not cheap (125 pesos and up)--if you want Domino's there's one a few blocks away. Thin crust but not dry, quality ingredients. The restaurant offers much more than pizza, including had-made pasta; judging by the ingredients and product, those should be a good relief from... More

We went to the rooftop terrace last night to watch the Easter processions from above, and ordered a pizza and carpaccio and bottle of Pinot Grigio while we were waiting. The pizza was excellent - probably one of the best we've had in Mexico. The extra arribiatta sauce the waiter gave us and the chile oil added a kick, as... More

My partner and I decided on impulse to try Mezzaluna one Saturday evening and it was fabulous. The food was tasty and well priced, although at the higher end, price-wise. Although the restaurant was quite full the service was good and the waiters friendly. An added bonus was the music - a small ensemble played and sang during dinner and... More

So maybe it was the late hour but we had a poor meal at this restaurant. Got there about midnight and were sat on the roof top - whiich has a lovely view over the city. It was cooling off so we asked it one of the gas heater could be brought over only to be informed that both of... More
