This is a lovely spacious restaurant overlooking one of the small parks close to the Cultural Museum. Had a wonderful Caesar salad made fresh at the table followed by a lasagne that was not too cheesy. Slick service by professional staff.

Amazing pizzas & pastas. Loved the calamari too. Visited twice during our trip. Lots of vegetarian options. And great service.

We decided to try something other than pizza here, which was always excellent. The rissotto with flamed asapargus and shrimp was very good and the lasagna was lacking more tomato sauce and Italian spices. All in all, lovely atmosphere, great service, but definitely the best are pizzas and salads which are served with chilli infused olive oil oil for dipping.

The meals are very tasty, great service and a wonderful place to grab a mid-day meal. Great window views of El Llano Park.

After a beer on a rooftop terrace just down from Mezzaluna's on Calle Allende, we decided to grab a light dinner of pizza. Around 5 pm, the restaurant was nearly empty, so we quickly ordered and consumed a very tasty wood fired Pizza Margarita! For four of us, the family size pizza for $205MEX was just about perfect. The best... More

Some of the best Italian food, always eat here when visiting Oaxaca ... love it! I make it a point to eat in the little room with blue tile flooring .. open to the street. This visit was still to high standard. The best calamari, a beautiful shrimp salad and killer Napoletana pizza. Second night, fresh papardelli with shrimp and... More

We took a break from all the yummy Oaxacan food one night during our trip and ended up quite pleased with the food at Mezzaluna. The wood fired pizza was just how we like it, very thin and quite tasty. It was fun to watch the guy making the pies and shoveling them in and out of the brick oven... More

The pizza here was so good we had to return, twice last year and twice this year. The location is less than a block west of Santo Domingo on a wide pedestrian side street. Eating upstairs on the rooftop was lovely at sunset.

Now called "La Campagnola", it features a wood-buring pizza oven. This is high-end pizza and not cheap (125 pesos and up)--if you want Domino's there's one a few blocks away. Thin crust but not dry, quality ingredients. The restaurant offers much more than pizza, including had-made pasta; judging by the ingredients and product, those should be a good relief from... More
