The pizza here has the lightest thinest crust. We had it with tomatoes and porcini mushrooms, and goat cheese with a light olive oil. Also a fresh big mixed lettuce salad. They served an olive brushetta and the red wine ( de case ) topped it off. You cannot find better pizza and I have been all over Italy. Sounds... More

Recommended by a friend, we went to this place and it was worth every peso. Rustic restaurant with wood-fired brick oven, and decorated with Italian landmarks. We had the Spaghetti Carbonara and a pasta with mushrooms in a creamy sauce, both absolutely delicious. For dessert a scrumptious Panacotte. Great food and friendly service.

Not the best dining experience in Oaxaca. Service was slow (20 minutes to take order, 65 minutes for first [burnt] pizza to arrive and another 10 for second [tasteless and burnt] pizza to arrive, and then 15 minutes for bill to arrive after we asked for it), though friendly. It was the musical performance that brought us in, and that... More

I was actually on my way to a different restaurant when I saw that people were sitting out on the top of this place. It was a very lovely night and the sun was just beginning to set, so it seemed like a great place to try. The patio on top looks out in all four directions and was definitely... More

Our selected lunch restaurant was unexpectably closed, so we ended up at this good looking restaurant. Our window seat was the high light of the meal. My margaurita was good, but a short pour. The thin-crust pizza was over-cooked which burned the meager cheese toppings. The bill was more than expected.

The pizza was good and the view from the room is great ... But when we received the bill they added 30 pesos for "servicio" which is apparently "la politica del restaurante" but it s written nowhere .... Well we didn't pay those 30 pesos !

I always eat here when visiting Oaxaca and this last trip I enjoyed Mezzaluna on 3 occasions. Always good and that makes me happy. The only bummer is that they took the Bolognese Bianco off the menu. But, the Carbonara was incredible. Perfect amount of egg and cheese clinging to the pasta. Great sausage and fennel pizza and perfectly done... More

We have beento Oaxaca before and have enjoyed pizza on the rooftop of Mezzaluna numerous times. Unfortunately, this past visit we experienced the worst meal of our visit. The service is absolutely horrible (worse than the expected unattentative service in most Oaxacan restaurants), the pizza was just bad, the funghi risotto extremely salty, and the wine list was non-existent (they... We had been enjoying traditional Oaxacan food for 10 days and decided that wood fired pizza was a good change. The salad and pizza were fresh and delicious. The night was cool and we opted to sit inside where the wood fired oven is located - we enjoyed the pizza maker tossing the pizza dough.
