Quiet quaint dining

Dinner for two included a sampler of six different moles. This hooked us onto mole "coloradito". Generous portions of classic Mexican cooking.

Great restaurant with excellent service. We went there to taste "moles", the tipycal food from Oaxaca (I think there are seven) and it was great. Every single one was prepared by them ingredient by ingredient (sometimes in Mexico they are pre-cooked because it takes a lot of time) and all were delicious.

Dinner at Los Pacos was the first introduction to a collection of unique and great moles available at the restaurant. Good solid food, plentiful and tasteful! Can't go wrong!

It's a cute restaurant with solid fare. They have a 7-mole sampler, so if you are interested in checking out all the regional moles, this is a good way to accomplish that. Reasonably priced, attentive staff.

A friend of mine who just happens to be a chef and author of his own cook-book told me I absolutely had to try the mole in Oaxaca. So I did... Los Pacos had received good reviews, so I stopped in for the mole negro. The wait staff was very attentive and spoke very little to no English, but that... More

We ate here primarily to try mole, and in particular their taster plate of chicken cooked with 7 different types. This was a great introduction to the typical Oaxacan sauce and we'd recommend it if you want to try it too - beware that you may not like them all, as each has very different flavours. The tlayudna starter and... More

The food is average, but they will offer you an artesanal beer that cost more than the food. They charge us more money for the beer than for the food, that was expensive indeed. Is nothing special, the same things that you can find at the Zócalo, with the same presentation. So, ask first before to order. They want your... More

Taken out for a meal with Mexican associates who wanted me to taste the "real deal." From grasshoppers, worms, and ant eggs, this place has it all. There at least 7 different flavors of Mole to sample and then you can choose your favorite over your choice of meat. They even provide "bibs" to keep your shirt clean.

We traveled as a couple (both of us are mexicans) and we can say without a doubt that this place has the best memelitas in Oaxaca. They also have the best mole negro, and if youve never tried mole, the mole mixto is a must. They have amazing local beers, and the waiters are extremely nice and pleasing. The rooftop... More

Great view (terrace). Great service. Delicious food. Try the gusanos with guacamole, the mole combinado. For Drinks, michelada is a must.
