What a beautiful restaurant!

How lucky that I happened upon this well reviewed place. Little did I know how lovely, soothing and relaxing it was inside along with great food. Thoroughly delicious meal that was enough for 2 the portions were so big. Great Oaxacan caprese sald with cheese, tomato and grilled watermelon. The ribs... read more

Fortunately, we had reserved a table here as people were being turned away; the ambience in an open courtyard was very pleasing and the meal was of a very high standard with excellent yet unobtrusive service.

We really liked this place - after nearly month in Mexico it was nice to find such inventive takes on old favourites - popular but not stuffy. Nice attentive service and reasonably priced

Extraordinary food and cocktails. An authentic Oaxacan experience in a stunning indoor-outdoor setting. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Many good restaurants en "El Centro" of Oaxaca. Danzantes is distinguished by its excellent upscale menus that offer a very different and delicious variation on the Oaxacan gastronomic scene. Attractive and different setting - the staff is friendly and efficient. ...and their Mezcal is superb!

The first time we ate at Danzantes, everything was wonderful- the decor is stunning, the mezcal wonderful, the huitlacoche dish amazing, and the service superior- The second time, we were having a similarly wonderful experience and then someone lit up and ruined the rest of the meal- I thought Oaxacan restaurants were smoke-free? Excellent place but it would be important... More

I went with my wife during our get away weekend in Oaxaca. Food was excellent; great taste, amazing presentation and good selection. Staff was friendly, but a little slow; if not it would get 5 stars. I would go again.

My wife celebrated a birthday toward the end of our recent 5 week stay in Oaxaca. We had heard wonderful recommendations about Los Danzantes and decided to give it a try for Susan's special evening. The food, the service, and the physical surroundings were 'as advertised', to put it very mildly. Each appetizer, main course and dessert was perfectly prepared... More
