Tastefully hip atmosphere. We arrived before sundown and the presence of pigeons perched high overhead on the open walls concerned me, but they were gone by nightfall. I ordered the chicken stuffed with goat cheese. Very good. Margarita was very good. Flan dessert with fig and chocolate was very good. Lovely atmosphere. Staff very friendly. Would recommend.

Food was incredible! Decor is zen, warm and welcoming. The retractable roof is a plus and makes the courtyard incredibly versatile. Music is set at the prefect level. The ribs, witch are served with a sauce similar to a BBQ sauce but more refined, are worth the trip alone! Rodrigo was very helpful. He offered advice on local wines and... More

The setting was a large open-air courtyard off the street. The food was excellent (I loved the chicken stuffed with mushrooms and cheese entree), including a very tasty flan de queso dessert. Service was excellent and the drinks were very good. Prices were quite reasonable.

We enjoyed a terrific lunch here today. The hoja Santa appetizer is cheese covered with a large green leaf, surrounded by a tasty green sauce. The pato confitado (duck confit) had great flavors, mainly due to the raspberry-like sauce. Setting is most enjoyable. Chocolate cascada dessert was memorable. One little disappointment was the hot chocolate, which did not seem house... More

Thank you so much for your comments, it’s wonderful to see you had such a great experience. We buy our chocolate to a local producer, it is actually a really good quality chocolate but as you mention it is not house made; we will look into the possibility of improving it. This restaurant has a very nice open air patio which makes for a very pleasant meal. I enjoyed the duck chilorio and the goat cheese spearmint appetizer. The ate turnover for dessert was also noteworthy. The waitstaff could be improved. Our waiter was a bit disorganized and slow. I'll definitely return on my next visit to this city..

We Love it here - we go for the comida on either Wednesdays or Friday ( you have to reserve!). Fabulous fabulous food for extremely reasonable price and you can add on wine at ( I think) about 130 pesos. You cannot find a better comida. Stylish, great taste. I am going this Wednesday! Oh, and they have their own... More

We had the tortilla soup and then the duck confit and the pork ribs. I definitely recommend the tortilla soup and the duck. The pork ribs could've been cooked for a lot more time to make them a lot softer.

this restaurant is not to be missed by any one who cares about really great food. We ate there three times. We also ate at the other top restaurants, but always returned to Danzantes. Gorgeous architecture, hip and elegant space, with equally hip and elegant food, beautifully presented. Oaxan menu with a twist. Lovely wines and nice bar. Also a separate couch-style seating area near the reflecting pool for drinks and food. Gorgeous.
