This was the first restaurant we tried when we arrived into Oaxaca and were pleasantly surprised . We started with the blue corn tortillas with queso fundido, huitlacoche and yes, crickets! This is a staple food in Oaxaca, quite an experience! Then we had the “Mogo-mogos” that is a soft ripe plantain “ball” filled with meat. Very delicious and interesting... More

We came with no reservation. However we were told that there was space for our party. We saw two massive tables nearby the entrance. They were empty. We requested one of them since we had a person with severe walking problems. We were told that those tables were already reserved and we were given the furthest table. The service was... More

We headed over here, not really hungry but fancied treating ourselves. The wine list was great and so was the food. Its a more formal restaurant and so the food was a little more expensive but the quality showed for it. Great place were you can chill out with an open roof.

I had the opportunity to eat here twice during my birthday "week" and each time was delicious. The first occasion, my group ordered off the menu rather than comida corrida. We shared 2 salads, one was the grilled watermelon caprese which was interesting but not memorable. The greens with apple and avocado was quite tasty. I chose the fettucine with... More

I have enjoyed this restaurant a few times... Love the style of the restaurant, and all the food has been wonderful. There Commida Corrida, only on Wednesday....is also a great bargain, for the price, in an upscale Restaurant. I would definitely recommend giving them a try.

Wow -- this was by far the best dinner we had in Oaxaca. Food was unique, delicious, and sophisticated. Atmosphere was wonderful in a unique building/setting. Very good service. Highly recommended.

One of the best restaurants in Oaxaca. It is a fancy place which has nothing to do with mexican typical restauranta, but it is located in the city main street, rather expensive for the area, but absolutely affordable for europeans and worth it. Don't miss the octupus as appetizer...super good! Recommended!!

Nice menu but missed on preparation,as a chef you know what to expect and this fell short. Drinks good but pricey too. Mezcal not the best quality and we expected better. Expensive, slow service.

We spent our honeymoon in Mexico doing a 4 week road trip from Mexico to Cancun. mexican food is amazing but for my husband and I, our dinner in Los Danzantes has been the best meal we had. Do not miss the ''Hierba santa rellena'' for starter…the best of the best !! Even the atmosphere is very special…HIGHLY recommended !

Although it was raining the night we went the ambience of the restaurant was still romantic and charming. The food was also exceptional. The restaurant tries to bring in an array of options from around the province of Oaxaca and while everything we ordered, from the salads to the main dishes, was delicious, the mogo-mogo was by far my favorite!...
