Wow -- this was by far the best dinner we had in Oaxaca. Food was unique, delicious, and sophisticated. Atmosphere was wonderful in a unique building/setting. Very good service. Highly recommended.

One of the best restaurants in Oaxaca. It is a fancy place which has nothing to do with mexican typical restauranta, but it is located in the city main street, rather expensive for the area, but absolutely affordable for europeans and worth it. Don't miss the octupus as appetizer...super good! Recommended!!

Nice menu but missed on preparation,as a chef you know what to expect and this fell short. Drinks good but pricey too. Mezcal not the best quality and we expected better. Expensive, slow service.

We spent our honeymoon in Mexico doing a 4 week road trip from Mexico to Cancun. mexican food is amazing but for my husband and I, our dinner in Los Danzantes has been the best meal we had. Do not miss the ''Hierba santa rellena'' for starter…the best of the best !! Even the atmosphere is very special…HIGHLY recommended !

Although it was raining the night we went the ambience of the restaurant was still romantic and charming. The food was also exceptional. The restaurant tries to bring in an array of options from around the province of Oaxaca and while everything we ordered, from the salads to the main dishes, was delicious, the mogo-mogo was by far my favorite!... very cool structure and interior. Food was excellent. Uses open table so easy for reservation. Cons - one drunk patron was obnoxious and the strolling guitarist would not leave us alone until we bought a cd. better to just ignore him even if you like the music.

We arrived early and were the only customers at 1:30ish, but that's OK. The staff was professional, warm, and always concerned about our experience. We had a roast watermelon caprese which was quite good and an arugula, avocado, toasted pepitas, palm hearts which was excellent. For mains, we had the confit of pork ribs in a chile pasilla borracha sauce... More

I travel to Oaxaca a fair amount and always try to find great restaurants. Los Danzantes was a great recommendation by our hotel. The food was 2nd best in Oaxaca thus far, but the atmosphere was tied for #1. An outdoor patio, however not rooftop that was very peacefully and romantically designed. I went with 4 colleagues and it was... More

We were here for late lunch during Guelaguetza 2014 on a weekday. We made a reservation & enjoyed the peaceful setting & delicious food & cocktails. A bit pricey but worth it. Also next to the restaurant is a fabulous shop for handmade natural dyed indigenous blouses & wraps.

Gourmet dishes but quite limited menu. The flavored soda water was terrible. Decent service. Wasn't crowded. Excellent cocktails. Was a surreal location surrounded by 30 foot walls and a funky retracting roof.
