Me encanta el café de aquí. Hay muchas opciones de café y postres. El café es muy bien calidad. I love this café! The people are very friendly and the coffee is amazing! You definitely must stop here when you in the downtown area.

Service has always been hit-and-miss, but lately it's sinking fast. Maybe it's because the clientele is mostly tourists and Gringos. Or it could be that Kyle Dromgoole, the Texan owner, is not often there anymore. The last 3 or 4 times I've been there there's been something wrong with my order. Today I had enough & had to walk out... More

A very nice and cool patio lets you sit and read and dream of the wonderful Oaxaca. Coffee is really excellent - and the small selection of sandwiches are really filling (and taste very well). For us it was the best café in oaxaca - and we tried several ...

Bagels, fresh orange juice, delicious coffee and wonderful service. Really, what more could you ask for? Sure, the bagel isn't a NYC bagel but it still tasted wonderful and came perfectly toasted and smeared with cream cheese. The fresh-squeezed OJ tasted like the oranges had just come off the tree and the coffee was fantastic. Now, my only question is,... More

Really nice people. Centrally located around the corner from our hotel. But even if it's not near your hotel it's worth the walk just to sit in their garden setting where they play cool jazz, there's free wifi, and as a bonus they're very nice people. The juices are very nice. I left my sunglasses there and the next day... More

I just returned from six days in Oaxaca and went to the Brujula location on Alcala three times. The iced coffee is delicious - I would agree with another reviewer who said it was strong but not bitter (you can feel perfectly safe consuming the ice - it seems that, like most tourist-oriented food businesses located in the historic center,... Cafe Brujula is a great brunch or snack spot when in Oaxaca. They roast their own coffee in house and make homemade bread, bagels, cakes, cookies and muffins. We popped in for a homemade bagel with cream cheese and one of their famous banana cakes. Both were great. The bagel tasted wholly authentic and the banana cake was moist and... More
