If you are a coffee snob then go here, they know how to cook coffee to perfection. Mexico offers great beans but we found some places cant cook it, so this was our saviour. Simple brunch menu is good, but who needs brunch when there is street food in your face in oaxaca

Great coffee, really friendly service and lovely atmosphere in a great area of Oaxaca. Also loved the yogurt based mango smoothie with no sugar! This is a REAL coffee shop! The best in town.

There are two locations in Centro Historico: Garcia Vigil 409-D and Alcalá 104. Both offer the same coffee and dessert selections and have Wifi. Ask the waiter to write down the password when you order. The Alcalá location is an outdoor area with better atmosphere than the Garcia Vigil, but both are wonderful places to relax and regroup. Bagged coffee... More

Me encanta el café de aquí. Hay muchas opciones de café y postres. El café es muy bien calidad. I love this café! The people are very friendly and the coffee is amazing! You definitely must stop here when you in the downtown area.

Service has always been hit-and-miss, but lately it's sinking fast. Maybe it's because the clientele is mostly tourists and Gringos. Or it could be that Kyle Dromgoole, the Texan owner, is not often there anymore. The last 3 or 4 times I've been there there's been something wrong with my order. Today I had enough & had to walk out... More

A very nice and cool patio lets you sit and read and dream of the wonderful Oaxaca. Coffee is really excellent - and the small selection of sandwiches are really filling (and taste very well). For us it was the best café in oaxaca - and we tried several ...

Bagels, fresh orange juice, delicious coffee and wonderful service. Really, what more could you ask for? Sure, the bagel isn't a NYC bagel but it still tasted wonderful and came perfectly toasted and smeared with cream cheese. The fresh-squeezed OJ tasted like the oranges had just come off the tree and the coffee was fantastic. Now, my only question is,... More

Really nice people. Centrally located around the corner from our hotel. But even if it's not near your hotel it's worth the walk just to sit in their garden setting where they play cool jazz, there's free wifi, and as a bonus they're very nice people. The juices are very nice. I left my sunglasses there and the next day... More
