The best coffee we found in Oaxaca..

The title says it all; the coffee is superb. The smoothies are also very good. There are a few branches in Oaxaca but we only spent time in this one. Lovely open air courtyard, free wifi and helpful, friendly staff. Slightly unusual nativity scene in the rear courtyard adds to the magic.

This is my favorite coffee shop in Oaxaca! The espresso has a wonderful bold flavor and the house blend is amazing. I always buy at least 2 pounds every time I visit Oaxaca!

Just come and taste their coffee, I promise you will not regret it. Their natural smoothies and sandwiches are also really good. You would take this over a Starbucks every day!

The best place for a coffee in Oaxaca! Lovely light, airy courtyard setting. Very relaxed. And, to cap it all, superb coffee. It's possible to buy packs of coffee there too. Went there a number of times during a one week stay in Oaxaca.

Cafe Brújula is a typical espresso bar type establishment, but thoroughly planned to be as good as possible. The staff are well treated and (relatively) well paid, and hence are excellent baristas (friendly and polite of course, take initiative, look you in the eye, think ahead, react quickly etc). The coffee is local, organic, by cooperatives who get paid more... More

Only had the coffee, but I would go there anytime I wanted a really super coffee, the location on the Alcala with the outdoor courtyard is lovely. Little tables and people quietly looking at their computers while the birds are chirping.

Such a quaint little courtyard to enjoy your cappuccino. Great music and atmosphere. Gives Starbucks a run for its money.
