Los Panchos has been around forever. You can try very good mexican "informal" dishes and Tacos. it is one of those places where locals hace been going for ages. It is a very simple restaurant, the service is very friendly and the food is very good (in it's category). I have enjoyed it throughout my... read more

Hand made tortillas are basic in mexican food. Excelent Mole. Carnitas wonderful. Mole de olla is a soup with meat, vegetables and corn... very good.

If you want to try the Best Tacos you need to eat here. Excellent service and quality. Near Polanco a 10 minutes ride. They also have quesadillas and many more MEXICAN dishes. They have to areas inside so you can have a table and seat, or the traditional way to eat Tacos standup at the Bar where you see the... More

My wife and I stayed close to the rest and walked down the street not really knowing what to expect. Service was fantastic, food is great and authenticity is A+ . Bet place to have carnitas!

I usually try not to repeatedly visit the same restaurant when traveling, but made an exception for Los Panchos. The is friendly service, and the restaurant is justifiably known for its Carnitas. However, even better than the carnitas, in my opinion, is the Pork Pibil.

Going to Los Panchos is a tradition for me every time I visit Mexico. The quality of the tacos and all other dishes is excellent, has always been. The atmosphere is laid back, the service attentive and the food just delicious. Order the "Petrolera con carne", one of their specialities (big corn patty with pork meat, refried beans and cheese... We went to Los Panchos since it was closer to our hotel and apparently had been around since 1945, and we wanted to try some authentic mexican food. All the dishes we ordered were well prepared and we enjoyed them a lot. Would certainly visit next time.

We tried the chile enogada and the margarita de granada. The chile was really delicious. We can recommend it a lot! The margarita was very good but rather small. We enjoyed the sunday lunch there a lot. The place is not fancy but local mexican.

My wife used to live in Mexico City a couple of decades ago and she still remembered this place. It was perfect! The quality of the food was great. These are not cheap tacos but you get what you pay for. The service is very good, and the place is super clean. We we were discourage to visit this place... More

We went there with Mexico City residents who remember eating there 50 years ago. The food is still great, especially the "mole", and the place is immaculate and well run. The prices are very reasonable too.
