Very good food from an amazing country

This is the place to go if you are near Polanco, maybe at the Camino Real (it's 2 blocks from there), try some real mexican food (you know, what we mexican eat). The specialty are the tacos de carnitas, try costilla, maciza and cueritos. Drink some fresh jamaica water and have flan for dessert.

If you are looking to try real Mexican food in a Restaurant that has been around for 60 years and has great prices, Excellent Food and Good Service, this is the place to visit. Start by trying the free Carrots they bring, they are hot. Then start off with some Carnitas Tacos, ask for Maciza if you like lean meat,... More

Very good tacos. This place is always full and for a good reason, the food is very good. It is a small 2 floor restaurant, close to the Camino Real Hotel. I would recommend this to anyone traveling and staying in the area.

Go there, order the carnitas. One of the best place in the city for this dish. Just carnitas and beer. No need for more.

My meal was great - the steak was cooked perfectly. The tampiqueña plate was missing the traditional chile relleno but I didn't really miss it. Atmosphere was cafeteria-like. Lighting was too bright; tables too close together. I'd probably still go back 'cuz I'm really all about the food!

Great customer service, willing to take care of the customers and food is just amazing! My favorite dishes are sopa de tortilla, petroleras, sopes and quesadillas! Prices are reasonable and it has a great environment to go with friends or business!

Hand made tortillas are basic in mexican food. Excelent Mole. Carnitas wonderful. Mole de olla is a soup with meat, vegetables and corn... very good.

If you want to try the Best Tacos you need to eat here. Excellent service and quality. Near Polanco a 10 minutes ride. They also have quesadillas and many more MEXICAN dishes. They have to areas inside so you can have a table and seat, or the traditional way to eat Tacos standup at the Bar where you see the... More

My wife and I stayed close to the rest and walked down the street not really knowing what to expect. Service was fantastic, food is great and authenticity is A+ . Bet place to have carnitas!

I usually try not to repeatedly visit the same restaurant when traveling, but made an exception for Los Panchos. The is friendly service, and the restaurant is justifiably known for its Carnitas. However, even better than the carnitas, in my opinion, is the Pork Pibil.
