I've been to Suntory in the past, although it has been years. The quality of sashimi is very good but skip the tempura. It's heavily breaded and greasy. It's a nice place, decent food and I always enjoy going with a group for teppanyaki. But it's not at the top of my list of restaurants. Much better sushi out there.

The restaurant looks old, the variety in dishes are really not that good, the food has nothing special about it, it's actually not interested at all.

This Restaurant has a beautiful outdoors garden, it is amazing. The service si good, our chef (Mr. Santos) is a nice person. He entertained us with some stories about his experience at this place. The food taste and presentation has an average rate, nothing special.

Terrible food, have no idea what's sushi! No variety in their menu, don't go. Expensive for what they serve. There are better places to go

I have gone through the great reviews of this restaurant and I couldn't not give it a try. The place looked like a restaurant that opened in the 80s, very old school that doesn't fit a Japanese concept. Food is beyond mediocre: I ordered a few selection of maki rolls which did not any tasted good. Some makis are super... More

Each time I visit Suntory is a delightful experience...more often on business meals than personal but either are great moments. If you know Benihana you will be familiar with the Japanese atmosphere and food...just a little bit better because they print the Mexican-Japanese style on each plate they prepare. It's a little bit pricy but it is definitely worth it!...... More

Wonderful food and exceptional service make this a must visit restaurant if you like the authentic Japanese food. Excellent price for the quality of food and a very welcoming restaurant. We can not wait to try this restaurant again.

Note: Suntory has recently opened a location in Interlomas, which is not the subject of this review. The one being reviewed is in Lomas at Paseo de la Reforma which I have visited on numerous occassions, always with friends and/or couples (although it's also advisable for business). Teppanyaki is a must, make sure to order the rib-eye (thin cut) and... More

This is a beautiful restaurant with excellent food. Ideal for a business lunch. The private patios on the back of the meeting rooms with a view of the small waterfall is like an oasis. The service was a little clumsy (waitstaff) but chefs were excellent and food quality superior.
