No visit to Mexico City could be completed without visiting San Angel Inn Restaurant. This is an all-time classic. The place is located at the San Angel area, a beautiful colonial residential spot in Mexico City, just a few steps from the “Estudio Diego Rivera” Museum. This restaurant has subsisted as one of the top restaurants in Mexico City since... More

The margaritas at San Angel Inn are the best in Mexico City. This place is beautiful so when you go, take your time. Have margaritas and (homemade) chips in the veranda before heading inside to your table to eat. The food was very good, not the best, but this place is so special it's a must. The service is impeccable.... More

San Angel Inn not only offers a wide range of traditional Mexican dishes. It also sets you in a meeting that remembers the traditional Mexican "hacienda" (ranch).

This restaurant has the charm of the antique elegant ranches. The spaces of the hause are carefully preserved to keep the ranch idea. You can have your meal or an appetitive in the wonderful gardens. The food is goog. Tasty and colorfull as usual for the mexican cuisine. It is expensive but delicious.

As I was walking through the place, I thought what it would be like to live there. It was an amazing experience. We had drinks in the outside terrace and then had dinner in the inside. The service was fantastic and they constantly recommended the "less-spicy" dishes, so I was very thankful for that.

This place is so worth a visit when in Mexico City. The ambiance alone makes it a memorable dining experience. Lunch time is a perfect time to come sit in the beautiful courtyard. The food is wonderful, from the Cesar salad to the huitlacoche fettuccine. And don't pass up the merengue with fruit and vanilla sauce when the dessert cart... More

Located in the neighborhood of San Angel, in a 17th century monastery this place has loads of character. We went here to celebrate a birthday. Great service from the waiters. Mexican and International cuisine. Loved the Azteca Tortilla soup and my hubby had the Steak. Loved the outdoor courtyard, while sipping on a wine.

Have been going there since I was a little girl. It's just that good. If you happen to visit during "Chile en nogada" season, don't miss it, I truly think after trying more than 10 places, this one is the best.
