Had a wonderful experience on that restaurant. Food is excelent from entry to desert. I had a Lobster Cream (soup) as entrance that was simply divine. The Shrimp Chateaubriand wonderful. The Margheritas perfect! The admostmosfere is very nice, good for families, friends, business. I really recomend that amasing food experience in Mexico City

My Wife and I went to this mexican restaurant this August for my birthday. I have to say that we have a superb meal, with awesome food and staff service; the place is a "mexican hacienda" decorated with old mexican style and its really well maintained with nice and clean bathrooms. I really recomend the "Azteca Soup" and the "Arrachera... More

The scenery is classic and the service was superb. If you want to take a while to enjoy the company of friends while eating typical Mexican food you can't go wrong here. A small tray of olives and fresh vegetables was set on the table with our drinks. Then we moved to a shared appetizer of escamoles and tequila /... More

We sit beside the pool in the terrace in a sunny day ... With a great Margarita was the perfect combination. Pricey for Mexican standards, but food was good, and the ambience in the terrace is perfect for a Sunday! Highly recommended.

I've been going to this restaurant for over 40 years and what a disappointment today. Although I have fond memories of delicious food and wonderful caring service and management from years ago, today the food (which is very expensive by Mexican standards) was just "ok" at best. More importantly, we specifically went for their crepe Suzette which we loved the... More

Valet parking. I don't believe that there was a charge for the valet. Lovely place. Sit outside if possible. We were told my many that the San Angel Inn had the best Margaritas in town. They are very good. Served in a silver carafe in a little bucket of ice and a chilled martini glass.

Food overall is very good, pricey though. The setting is unsurpassed as it has the place itself has as much history as any other restaurant in Mexico City. I recommend it more for the scenary then the food. Arrive when there still is light so you can see the premises before you sit down to eat

Food is the best example of Mexican cuisine. The decoration as well. I had a delicious lobster bisque, and some escamoles with guacamole. Service is great. And the desserts looked delicious (even though I didn't have one) Come here. You can ostracize me if you didn't enjoy it.

The San Angel Inn is one of the best restaurants in Mexico City, for locals and tourists alike and a must on my annual Mexico City visit. Located in a beautiful traditional Mexican hacienda in the heart of San Angel, the restaurant has lovely courtyards and gardens. I recently visited the new breakfast section of the restaurant where food, service... More
