You just have to go!

environment of an old hacienda, simply awesome! Wonderful place, decoration and well utilized space. Food is varied with a Mexican and options of contemporary also! Service is good and variety is nice, a little bit over spicy even when they mention it is mild! Lol

Great place for, at the very least, a drink and a snack. Beautiful courtyard and excellent margaritas- try the tamarind flavored. But, if you're headed there on a Saturday (because of the Saturday market in san Angel) make sure to arrive before 1:30-2 as the locals start pouring in around 2

We were walking down the San Angel area, a bit disappointed by the run down cobble stones when we found the San Angel Inn and stopped for lunch. A must. Beautiful outdoor restaurant with succulent traditional Mexican food. The service is impeccable. Best Reposado Margarita and Tortilla soup we ever had.

The atmosphere is magnificent and the food exceptional. In particular we enjoyed the fish veracruzana. The Margaritas were excellent as was the service (if you excuse the lame busboys). The coffee Diablo prepared table side was incredible.. Never has anything like it! The cab ride from Polanco is slow and awful.. Not the restaurant's fault and worth enduring.

I didn’t have a reservation but I got there early on a Sunday for lunch (the regulars go at 3:00) and had no problem getting a table. I had a great margarita (not too sweet); tortilla soup (SO beautifully presented), and cochinita pibil that was outstanding. Service wonderful. Setting gorgeous. $40 USD.

We had a fantastic dining experience here. Great cocktails & my steak was cooked in front of me at the table. A very nice touch!. Great setting, nice ambiance & the cost was reasonable. A bit expensive by Mexico standards, but well worth it! About £40 per head! $60 You would be paying triple that in a restaurant of this quality... More

I had been at this restaurant some years ago. I went back with my husband, sister in law and nephews. The ambience, decoration, service and quality of the ingredients were very good. The patio/terrace is very relaxing, nicely decorated. We shared different appetizers, which were all very good. The main course I had, Robalo/Bass, was excellent. The wine list is... More

This is a very nice place if you can sit outside in the garden. When we were there it was too cold in the evening to sit outside. The food is good to excellent, the deserts are awesome.

Eventhough it's one of the most old and renowned restaurants in Mexico city, and the food is good, the service and ambiance are too pretentious.

We visited the San Angel Inn over 30 years ago and was anxious to go back wondering what, if anything, had changed. It has only gotten better! The town is charming with many artisan shops, but the frosting on the cupcake is paying a visit to the San Angel Inn. There are many small and large dining rooms surrounding the... More
