Valet parking. I don't believe that there was a charge for the valet. Lovely place. Sit outside if possible. We were told my many that the San Angel Inn had the best Margaritas in town. They are very good. Served in a silver carafe in a little bucket of ice and a chilled martini glass.

Food overall is very good, pricey though. The setting is unsurpassed as it has the place itself has as much history as any other restaurant in Mexico City. I recommend it more for the scenary then the food. Arrive when there still is light so you can see the premises before you sit down to eat

Food is the best example of Mexican cuisine. The decoration as well. I had a delicious lobster bisque, and some escamoles with guacamole. Service is great. And the desserts looked delicious (even though I didn't have one) Come here. You can ostracize me if you didn't enjoy it.

The San Angel Inn is one of the best restaurants in Mexico City, for locals and tourists alike and a must on my annual Mexico City visit. Located in a beautiful traditional Mexican hacienda in the heart of San Angel, the restaurant has lovely courtyards and gardens. I recently visited the new breakfast section of the restaurant where food, service... More

..then you might want to consider dinner at the San Angel Inn. For anyone who loves Spanish influenced Mexican colonial architecture, this would be a highly recommended stop. It was raining the evening we went there, so we could not get a table in the beautiful courtyard, but we did have a table under the loggia that surrounded the courtyard,... More

Located in one of the most exclusive areas of the city of Mexico, San Angel, we found this seventeenth century hacienda converted into a famous restaurant and a must for every tourist. From one crosses the gate travels the access time to the classic era, at the center of the comple a fountain sourrounded by a garden and the garnden... More

We were a group of 10 people including a number of local Mexicans. The town of San Angel is very quaint and despite the distance is worth the trip. The hacienda is beautiful and worth a walk around, particularly in the gardens including the back while it is still daylight. Traditional Mexican food, attentive service and live music that is... I was a little hesitant based on the distance outside of the city and the reviews about the food, but ended up having a wonderful family dinner! My husband, myself, mother and grandmother all enjoyed our meals. Dessert was good too, but not out of this world. We got there around 5:00 and did not have a reservation. Fortunately we... More

Had a great lunch this past Friday at San Angel Inn. Made a reservation based on recommendations from others, and we reserved a table in the Garden (a must). We arrived at 1.30, but I would say the crowd started to grow by 3.30pm; evidently a good place for afternoon Friday cocktails. Overall, a solid "A" menu. But fantastic old... More
