The service was excellent we dined on the 3rd floor. I would recommend you go for the overall experience but the food is nothing to rave about. It is pretty average and in my opinion you can get better food elsewhere. The prices are not too bad. My family enjoyed the time here.

I went there with some Mexican friends and the place itself looks very nice. The food is very tasty and well served. Service was excellent, very attentive. I would recommend their Platano con Cajeta dessert. It's SO yummy!!!

This is one of the best places to eat traditional central Mexico cuisine. My parents live in the city and this is where I take them for a treat. I particularly recommend breakfast time. All menu items are good and service is excellent except when crowded which is very often the case. Reservations are a must. Not to be missed

Gusanos de Maguey, Ant eggs and delicious Mexican dishes like Chiles en Nogada, home made tortillas and awesome desserts. Sweet black coffe and traditional hot milk with chocolate and sweet bread.

The building is really worth the visit and the food, tbe best real Mexican food, you will not find better anywhere else. It is real Mexican Cuisine and of the best quality, nothing to do with Mex-Tex. Try the Tacos de Canasta or Puntas de Filete. The Tostadas de Marlin also great. Take into consideration that Mexicans begin lunch close... More

Excellent food delicious hot chocolate with home baked typical Mexican breakfast pastries. Exquisite rolls too. Please make reservations since all of their venues are extremely popular. Very good service.

One of the best and most consistent classical Mexican cuisine places in town. Make sure to have a chocolate caliente (hot chocolate) and a talla style fish.

Hi, i have been to this restaurant several times and this i decided to write a review as i was there with friends, i suggested to go there and was not disappointed again. They serve first a molcajete with great green tomato sauce, fresh cheese and fresh made tortillas, their moles are spicy and good and not many restaurants serve... More

Heared about the good reviews for their breakfast. So it was time for me to make an own experience. Went their 9:15 AM on a Saturday and had to wait 10-15 Minutes for a table. I dont like waiting at all, but it was totally worth it! They gave me a 4 Person Table on the 1st Floor. Really nice... More

This is a solid traditional (i.e. conservative, sedate) restaurant very close to the Zócalo (Cathedral Square) in the Centro Historico. I went there the other day for a peaceful "lunch " at 5.30pm. The other customers seemed to be local business types or hacenderos up in the capital for a day or two. No tourists, no large groups, no children... More
