If you are around San Angel and you want to enjoy a great breakfast, visit El Cardenal. Busy as always, their freshly made pan ducle and hot chocolate will make you day!

We were there for lunch and both my wife and I thought it was excellent. For an appetizer, try the avocado and cheese that's served in a mortar...only 30 pesos.

Chiles en nogada are delicious, though somewhat expensive. The service is excellent and the restaurant in Las Lomas is a little noisy but elegant.

One of Mexico city finest restaurants. Mexican gourmet food. Try Queso tapado and Escamoles, outstanding.
