One of the best meals I have had in my life. The seafood is fresh and even though the restaurant was filled to capacity, the quality of the food and the service was excellent. I would go back to Mexico City just for the food here!

This place is absolutely great. For food, drinks, people watching, ambience. And the tostadas de atun are out of this world! This is one of my favorite places for sea food and a good beer. If you want a non-alcoholic drink, get an agua de jamaica! Enjoy!

This is an extraordinary place to eat, everything is delicious, service is excellent, one of the best restaurants in mexico city, it's not cheap but the quality of the food is first class !!! We only go there on special ocasions because it's expensive. If you are in mexico city, and you can afford it, go and enjoy it !!!

I stopped in Mexico City for a few days on my way to see family in another region of the country. This was my one "go-to" restaurant and I didn't let the fact that I was alone stop me from trying it. I was seated at the bar which is the perfect vantage point for watching the hustle and bustle... More

My husband and I went here for lunch. I printed a google map of the street and address to show the taxi driver, so it would be easier for him to find. Once we got to the restaurant, we did not have restervations, so i was scared we wouldn't get a table. i was lucky the lunch rush had not... More

We tried many dishes including extraordinary tuna tacos and grilled dorado with green sauce and grilled shrimp. I specified not hot and spicey and everything was still delicious and unusual and the corn tortillas made on the spot were the best we've had in the week we've been he so far. The only difficulty for us was that we stayed... More

At this moment Contramar, is just a good place to eat. The tuna fish tostadas are still the best dish in their menu. Drinks are quite expensive. Place is good, tables are simple and everything is clean. The not so good thing is their bathroom, smelly and not clean for a restaurant of their category. And you have to be... More

This is often difficult to get into because the are not open in the evenings. You can make it a late lunch or even go as late a 16:30 or 17:00 for an early dinner. There are many upscale locals here including business, couples, and families. Expect tables that are close together. Then just enjoy the fantastic seafood.
