Excellent and trendy

The seafood is very good in this casual and trendy place in Mexico City. Since it opened it had all the ingredients for success and has proven its worth for over a decade now. It has become expensive because its so trendy and you will have to wait for a table but worth the visit. A place to go to... read more

We joined the ranks of people queuing on a Sunday lunchtime, but were happy to find out we could be seated straight away as we didn't mind sitting at the bar. Service was as excellent as you'd expect from a well known restaurant. We had the tuna tostadas to start (marinated raw tuna thinly sliced on top of tostada with... More

I visited this restaurant with a friend who had eaten here before. It is a large and bustling establishment. You can get an idea of how a place is regarded locally by the type and number of people eating at any given moment and this place was packed with locals. The service was excellent and our waiter clearly knew what... More

This was definitely the best lunch I had in Mexico City. My mouth is watering thinking of all the ceviches we dined on. Everything was amazing from the salads, tacos, to ceviches, and top notch service. Definitely a fantastic place for people watching in cool neighborhood!

Contramar is an amazing restaurant in Col. Condesa. The restaurant is clean and beautiful. The service is excellent and the food is the best. If you plan to go make reservations and get a table in front of the kitchen to see the chefs cooking. This is a family restaurant and they have really good food. Try their ceviche with... More

Delicious and fresh. Everything we had was excellent, but the tuna tostada and a tuna sashimi with a citrus soy sauce were standouts. They're the kind of dishes that get under one's skin. I know I'll be craving them again soon. The menu and daily specials offer good variety. The design aesthetic is simple, clean and comfortable. A few words... More

This is amazing restaurant in the Condesa/Roma Area. I highly recommend the pescado a la Talla. It is a good place to hang out, have some beers and mezcal/tequila and eat great seafood.

Don't pay attention to the bored customers waiting outside this restaurant - just the tuna tostadas are worth the wait!i have been to this place about a dozen times over the past 8 years and the quality of the food and service is always the same. This is one of the many things that Mexicans do better than the rest... More

This is definitely the place to go if you like super-fresh seafood. Staff here are helpful and the service is prompt. The restaurant caters to local business people and it was jammed. Luckily, we arrived 30 minutes before the big "rush" - so it worked out well. Pricing is moderate but worth it in terms of the selection and taste.... More
