I have frequented all 3 major Daikoku locations (Nuevo Leon in the Condesa, Río Lerma and Río Panuco) in the past ... and I just had a meal there when meeting a friend that was getting off of work in an office on Reforma. I am not sure where the recent reviews are coming from .... because I have never... More

I must admit there were numerous happy faces chewing on what they pronounced soot-shee, and we wished to have be able to have joined them in the simple pleasures of fun dining, but Daikoku is really a fraud, just take a peek into their "kitchen", - wish I had done that before ordering. the sushi was a fraud, the udon... Very popular with the Japanese embassy folks. What it is totally missing in ambience, it makes up for in food quality. Sushi is highly recommended.
