Basque cuisine with Mexican influence

A great establishment to go to if you enjoy Spanish cuisine with hints of Mexican flavors. I tried the sea bass here in pistachio sauce. Save plenty of room for the desserts. Good selection of wines to choose from.

This is by far one of the best menus in Mexico. The food is great, the service is attentive, but very slow. The restaurant is very elegant, and private. I have been to this place twice already, and on both opportunities, we were the only table in the Restaurant. I don't understand why it is always empty?!?! If you want... More

We went as a group of 8 pax to this restaurant in February this year and we're completely ripped off by the waiter. This was one by us asking for recommendations of some starters etc to share in which he seemed to order 1 serve of each including $100.00 worth of proscuitto! This carried on throughout main course where he... More

I loved Tezka, you will like this restaurant if you like Basque Cuisine. The atmosphere is classy and beautiful. The service is wonderful. I had terrina de foie with coffee crust, piquillo peppers stuffed with cod (the best i ever had in my entire life), seared tuna with clorophill and pistachio mole (I highly recommend it) and snapper with sauteed... This is one of Mexico city's best restaurants. It is located in the zona rosa area of the city. Our meal was wonderful...stuffed calamari in it's own ink, sea bass cooked to perfection and the desserts were incredible. Good, but expensive wine list. Highly recommended. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful and the complimentary appetizers were incredible.

The food is very average... There are much better options in La Condesa or Pplanco spending the same money. But the worst thing is the service. I don't even want to remember about how awful it was...

Tezka was empty, but the waiters were helpful with suggestions, welcoming, and courteous, so we are very glad we went in. The presentation was beautiful, and the presentation even better. The tapas were nicely sized, and they split them for us. The decor is very nice, and I noticed two tables on cute private balconies if you are looking for... More

Excellent gourmet food, I wonder why restaurant is somehow empty at lunch time on weekdays. Great service. Do not hesitate to enter even if the place looks empty, food is excellent.
