Parrilla Quilmes was near our hotel and well recommended. We liked it, had the parrilla for two. The chorizo and various beef cuts (especially the corte, sort of like a skirt steak or flank steak) were all good, the chicken more ordinary. Good value wines by the glass. The service was fine; the waiter spoke English to us, but not... More

The problem is that the competition for good Argentine food in Mexico City is ample. If it weren't I might have rated this place higher. The portions and food are very nice here but there are other restaurants that have the same quality around Mexico City that charge less ... therefore the average rating.

We had a great time at Quilmes. The food was quite good, the location excellent, the view on to the street and ambience made it well wothwhile. Reasonable prices for the food and even better prices for a good selection of wine. But the service was superb. The waiter worked extra hard to make sure everything was to our satisfaction.... More

I have been to this place on my last three trips to Mexico and I always enjoy coming here. Great food - by the way, you come here for the meat - period! You have a selection of meats to choose between and you decide how you would like to have it cooked. Good selection of wines. Their chimichurri is... More

I ordered the grilled chicken breast with chimmichurri sause. It is served on a wooden plate. It was wonderful. My spouse ordered the churrasco steak. He said it was wonderful. We were disapointed that they did not have any side dish other than potatoes. He does not eat carbohydrates and did not have any options but a small green salad.... More

I wanted to try this restaurant for a while since it's located on top of a hill (La Cuspide, Lomas Verdes) and has an excellent view of the city. It was a very clear day, so our beautiful and snowy volcanoes could be seen from there: Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl. We requested a table for 7 and were promply seated since... More

It is certainly not the fanciest steak house in the city ie: Winston Churchill's, but the steak is succulent. I frequent this place 2 X per month. The first 2 times I went a few years ago the service was awful, the only reason i went back was because of the food. Now I ask for mesero Edgar exclusively ,... More
